So I’ve read the owner’s manual, and yet I cannot for the life of me locate a gravity fill spout on my Connect. The diagram shows it is somewhere (not at the city water fill location) and describes how to do it even. But the only way I’ve been able to fill my fresh tanks is through a pressurized hose at the docking station and by turning the lever from city to tank fill. But that isn’t a gravity fill. In fact, the angle of the receptacle is such that it can *only* be filled with a pressurized hose. This would not help me if I were boondocking and wanted to add water from storage containers to my fresh tank. It would require a pump. Does anyone know the answer to this? I’ll feel really dumb if it’s on my camper that I’ve owned for months, but I’ll also be really happy to learn that it does is fact exist!

I think the only other way is using the suction line for winterizing. My Durango D250RES camper is in storage but I’m pretty sure there’s a valve setting to do this.

Correct it has to be sucked in via the winterizing, there's no gravity full. So, could I just bring in my spare jug of fresh water into the camper where my water pump is and flip those two valve settings (for winterizing) and just dip that length of tubing into my container and turn the water pump on? Wait, but that would be bypassing the fresh tank. I would have to leave the length of hose in the water jug, and basically have the jug act as the fresh water tank? (This is all just in the event I ran out of fresh water in the tank)

Your pump may come on for a couple of seconds and work as normal after that.

There should be on valve for the pickup and one for the fresh fill/water system. You should be able to fill the fresh tank from your jug. You just need to figure out which valve to turn.

We have the 261rb and it only has the pressurized fill like you mentioned at the docking station.

I have a 2019 C261RB and it has both a fresh water fill for the tank and the city water connection. I have only two valves by the pump. One to turn off the pump input from the fresh water tank and one to turn on the pump input from the pick up line. There is no way to use the pump to fill the freshwater tank.
If you don't have the freshwater fill input, then I would have to assume there is a valve setup that allows the city water connection to feed into and fill the fresh water tank. Your owners manual should explain how that works. If it doesn't, then a call (complaint) to both KZ and your dealer is warranted.
If you don't have a fresh water fill port, where is the fresh water overflow output? You really have to have one. With the fresh water fill, the overflow comes out at the same fitting. Without the fill, there should be an overflow drain line, probably near the fresh water tank drain.

The camper we purchased intentionally for boon docking. That is why we purchased one with solar. NO MENTION WAS MADE THAT YOU COULD NOT GRAVITY FILL THE WATER TANK! This camper is basically worthless to us at this point. We are seniors and we are too old to lug big water jugs around. We have private property which we DID tell the dealership and mentioned boon docking SEVERAL times to them. This is our retirement and now we’re stuck with a camper that does not meet our needs. If ANYONE has a solution for us, we would be more than elated to hear it. Thanks for listening. Ket

Even with a gravity fill you either need to lift water jugs or have a pump do the work. I rearranged things so that I can pump from a jug or draw water in and send it to the onboard tank. I also added a gravity fill port, but rarely use it.

Can you use the water pump winterizing hose to bring water in and divert it to the fresh tank? I haven't seen a newer camper in a long time that has a gravity fill.

As indicated by 660catman, your are able to do what you want and it will be even easier than gravity fill. Holding a 5/6 gal jug while it slowly empties into the tank fill is no fun. I hate it, but do it as that is the only way for my 261RB.
You just need a short hose to dip into the portable tank and use the Sanitize setting to pump the water into the holding tank. I would love that capability.
