Hello All! I've been lurking as a Guest for a while, finally jumped in. I am new to KZ; my wife and I picked up a 2022 D250RED from Wilder RV in Clinton, MO on May 2nd. We've had a few trips so far and really enjoying our 5th wheel. This is our 4th camper, 1st KZ product & 1st 5th wheel.
Decided to take on a project the wife asked for - more shelves for the bedroom. The existing closet is great with lots of hanging space, but we needed something different. I got the idea from a pic I saw of a Rockwood unit. So, constructed shelves using 1/4" sanded plywood and 3/4 x 3/4 lumber. Used the 3/4x for strengthening each shelf & covered the shelves with some shelving paper & installed using the 3/4x for supports between each shelf. Attached things together with construction adhesive. This way I didn't worry about penetrating into the closet structure. I used some screws to hold on the "divider wall" to the shelving unit.
Now the wife is much happier & I'm certain you all know ....... Happy Wife, Happy Life!

Looks great! I should have waited and bought the D250RED with the bedroom slide. We bought a 2021 D250RES last year but we love it. It’s our first KZ and 5th wheel too.

Thank you both for the comments. 660catman, glad to hear what you say about your RES. We’re just getting started with our KZ ventures, having taken two trips so far. So much to enjoy with our unit compared to the Rockwood trailer we had last.

Nicely done, I did something similar, but cheated and used wire shelves.

Did you have the doors from the factory or the sliding mirrors? Love the looks of yours, might be a project when we are home.

Perhaps not to ALL, but one of the fun things about the RV is doing projects, both big and small... keeps my hands busy and I need that!

I thought you might appreciate the instrument panel upgrade I did on my 1973 Commander 112HS. Series is original panel, panel after some work, work in progress, final panel.

My brother's dying to get a Dynon panel for his BE-58 Baron. Dynon's dragging their feet on getting it STC'd for the Baron, though it's been done for the Bonanza. Lyle

Lyle, I can't comment on STC stuff, other than to say I've heard similarly about other airplanes.
Thanks again for all comments, etc. Glad to have a place to share RV topics. Just spent this morning reading lots of threads.

Brother's really pissed that they rammed through an STC for the, IIRC, Saratoga, while they've been sitting on the Baron panel for 5 years. Hell, it's literally the same as the Bonanza panel, just with 6 more sets of sensors and whatnot for the second engine. Lyle
