Does anyone know where I could find a schematic showing how the grey and black tanks are plumbed. Trying to better understand drainage on both and black in particular to best ensure proper cleanout. With the climate package nothing below is visible. Thanks

The only source of prints is customer service at the factory and then it may not happen. If you are having problems then you will need to open up the bottom anyway to expose the pipes, be sure to take some photos while open.

I believe the fresh tank is the most forward tank, under the bedroom area. The black tank is second and sits just forward of the wheels under the bathroom area, and the grey tank sits behind that even with the wheels. The black tank connects to the toilet and to the dump valve plumbing right where the dump valve sits. The procedure I was given and use is to drain the black tank first, connect a hose to the flushing port and run the water while the tank is emptying. Once the black tank has drained turn off the flushing water, close the black tank valve. Then open the gray tank drain, this will flush any material from the black tank out of the drain hose. If I am leaving I disconnect the drain hose from the dump valve and flush it with fresh water from the hose to clear out any remaining grey water. After the black tank is drained I will put at least 1 to 2 gallons of water and a bottle of treatment into the tank and this can slosh around in there on the trip home. Hope this is helpfull.

We got our first TT used and the black tank always read full. I started putting 3 toilet bowls of water (about 5 gal.) with tank treatment into the tank after draining and letting that splash around when traveling. Whatever was causing the sensors to read full, cleared off and the gauge read correctly. I continued with the water in the black tank every trip after that and the gauges worked for the next 15 years.
Our current C261RB has the black tank flush so I let that run for about 1-2 minutes after closing the drain, then add one toilet bowl of water with the treatment to the tank. No issues the last 3 years.
