We've had popup's, TT's, Class C and a Class A. Have ALWAYS had 2 6v golf cart batteries. This is the first time we've had a SINGLE 12v (deep cycle?) battery to run an RV. When we picked up our 22' 391RKF, it came with a single 12 battery. After a few times of using it, mainly to run the jacks, it started to fail. Now we HAVE too plug in, in order to run the leveling system.
When it's plugged into shore power, it reads 13.6v on a meter.
When plugged into our truck, it reads 15v,
When NOT plugged into any thing, I get 12.8v, YET, if we try to run the front jacks just to get it off the hitch, it drops the volts down to 4v !
Jack issue? or Battery issue?
Yes, I want 2 6v's but we can't get them just yet. They're on the list!

You have a battery with a dead cell(s) so you’re not getting full amperage. It may read full volts but I have had a battery fail like that. It wasn’t in a camper but an ATV. It would not turn over the engine. You could get it load tested to confirm.
