Ok, I must state that the RV WAS sanitized by the dealer. I also sanitized it last week. I then changed out the white hose from the faucet to the PEX piping today.
Now, the issue.
'22 Durango Gold 391RKF with duel vanities in bathroom. For the past month now, the faucet on the right, when running COLD water only, would "smell" for a few seconds, then go away. That is the ONLY faucet that has this issue, all others are fine so we can rule out the filter .
I changed the hose today, it let it sit for an hour after flushing the line. Still have a bit of an odor but not as bad since hose change.
I'm just dumbfounded as to what is causing this in only ONE faucet!

I’ve always had issues with the white RV water hoses. They affected the taste of the water after one season. I bought a collapsible hose by Aqua Joe. Three years later still going strong. As far as your issue, it’s puzzling that it’s one tap only.

Check LCI they make the one I just replaced in my 5W. As for smell/taste we do not drink the water from the tap, it's for showers and dishes, drink water is from 3 gallon refillable jugs. We have one like this sets on a counter and refill it with the 3 gallons for drinking water. Always bought water from revers osmosis machines found nation wide for .25 - .40 a gallon.

Given that we, mostly, camp with the grandkids, we buy the half-size bottles of drinking water so there's not so much waste. We also keep several sharpies around to write their names / initials on them. HATE having half-empty water bottles around all over! We buy the gallon jugs from Costco (they're actually =cheaper= than Walmart!) for tea/coffee and cooking. Lyle

Lyle If you have room try the 3 gallon refillable and red solo cups with the names on them, no plastic waste, even the cups can be reused.

I carry a couple of milk crates filled with gallon jugs of water that I refill at home. Keep a gallon in the fridge, a gallon on the counter for coffee maker and ice maker.
