I am at a seasonal site and my rig in plugged in at all times. Two weeks ago, the right rear signal light began glowing. Took off the cover and of course it has a cute updated signal light, not the old bulb you just pulled out. Two people checked and really couldn't find any explanation for it. I want to just disconnect the wires take it out and then bring the light to a dealer to see if it can be ordered. HAs anyone ever seen something like this before? What would happen if I turned off the battery switch?
Thanks

First off, don't disconnect the battery unless the coach is unplugged. The battery serves as a reference and electrical cushion for the converter. Usually when a 12V light comes on when it shouldn't it's because of a bad ground back feeding thru the circuit. Is this light on all the time or can you "control" it by turning various 12V items on?. If that is the case, say this light comes on when you use lights in the slide room, then I would look at the ground for the slide room. If that isn't the case, and since the whole 12V system shares a lot of the same ground I would start at the battery, make sure the ground connections at the battery are clean and tight. Next is the various ground connections to the frame, same as the battery connections, clean and tight. I just thought of another thing, based on your description this has LED tail lights, and LEDs take very little current to light up...so it could be there is a diode in the light that failed. Get a multi meter and see just what the voltage is at the light, while there really shouldn't be any voltage on the ground side, a slightly bad connection could cause some voltage to be present, and that tiny bit could cause an LED to come on.
