Hi folks, we are looking at getting our first 5th wheel, right now top of our list is the KZ D301RLT. the Grand Design 303RLS, a third possibility might be a MONTANA HIGH COUNTRY 295RL So far we have only been able to see the Grand Design in person. We plan to travel about 3 hours one way this weekend to see a KZ. (there is a local dealer, but they don't have one)
Would appreciate any input from those that have considered one or more of these and any insight you could offer on any.
Thanks in advance.

Before we made our selection we had narrowed it down to 4 models:
KZ Durango HT 256RKT KZ Durango HT 250RED
GD Reflection 150 280RS GD Reflection 150 295RL
We were able to tour all of them and do some in-depth comparisons.
We felt both manufacturers built solid units. Both had available solar, gen prep etc. Prices were comparable. Basic interior equipment was quite similar as well. Ultimately we went with the one that offered us the features that most appealed to us. An outdoor kitchen, All-in-one w/d option, storage, interior color scheme, and warranty. We chose the 256RKT for that reason and have not been disappointed. The lighter cabinetry makes the space feel so much bigger. We gained closet space and lost the side-to-side cross breeze. I wasn't a fan of the kitchen island and I feel I ended up with a more usable kitchen even if it is in the absolute rear of the rig.
Dealer was also a major factor for us. We opted to go with a family-owned dealership instead of one of the big-box stores and we're very happy we did. They have treated us exceptionally well and were/are great to work with before and after the purchase.
All rigs are going to have their hiccups, it's the nature of the manufacturing process for everything these days. We opted to go for more of a camper feel, which limited some of the equipment that could fail and from reading forums and Facebook groups, we made the right decision.
The models you've listed all come with good reputations and everywhere we turn we see GD RVs in the campgrounds and on the road. We like being the lone Durango.
