Have 2018 Durango and cap light has never worked. One Control or LCI app do not turn on as well. I have seen others have this issue. Any insight is appreciated

We are going to need a bit more detail. When you say One control or LCI app do not turn on, what exactly does that mean? The touchscreen won't power up? Or the touchscreen & App wont turn anything on / off?

There’s a connection failure between the control board and the lights or it’s the board itself. You can test which is the line out for the cap light and other lights too. If you find you have power out of the board then it’s the line to the lights or the lights themselves.

Appreciate the reply. I have power to the board. When the light switch on the main control as well as the app is turned to on position, it immediate defaults back to off position. Thank you again for your insight.

If that’s the case and you know which wire, unhook that wire off the control board and test it unhooked. If it stays on, it’s a short in the wire to the cap light or one of the cap lights. You have two cap lights?
