Have not seen the owner, I would like a closer look.

Saw one last year here in Texas. Guy was using a half ton GMC to pull about28 ft trailer rigged this way. Company out of Houston does conversion. It was quite the set up. Kirt

I found some plans on the internet to do exactly this. I had contemplated doing this to my 30’ Zinger. I thought about it and just because I thought it would be a good idea, doesn’t mean someone else would like it if I tried to sell it. Bought the Durango half ton instead.

Yep. I've seen a couple of those, too. I've also seen a fair number of TCs on trailers (there's one down the street from our kids' house) and I've seen one TT mounted on a GN lowboy. :-)

I would imagine that adds a thousand pounds, maybe? I wonder if they amend the data plate for increased weight?

Just makes a TT longer! Negates 2 of the advantages a 5th wheel has, more living space & less over all length!

That would probably overload the capacity of a half ton truck. You still have the original tongue weight and added hundreds of pounds forward of the wheels making it even heavier on the truck.
