I'm looking at a 2006 KZ which looks to be a much better trailer than the 2018 251RKS I'm replacing. Just looking for any experiences. GD

Think the oldest I have seen was a 2014 and it was very nice. A lot has to do with former owner(s)and how they kept it, I have a 2017 and you have to look hard to find anything wrong. Couple moldings dinged, a small scrap in the vinyl where a clock fell and the battery got under the slide. Lot's of little owner fixed things and a couple large improvements, day/night shades & disc brakes. I ran LT tires until they wore out, 35-40,000 miles. I'm trying the Sailuns G637's as the reviews I have read have all been good, I don't like them they will go on Craig's list.

I have had a couple and am a big fan of older units. As mentioned above, if they were well kept it helps. That said, most anything can be rehabbed to be better than new. Good luck.

1995 and it was top of the line in it's day, aluminum framed a single large hydraulic slide & landing gear. The pumps big enough to operate the landing gear on a 747. One owner who put new batteries in and replaced all 4 tires before my son bought it. Now he needs a bigger truck, his 1500's too small so for now dad takes it to his camp site. Lucky most of it's at the local state park, might be 6 miles round trip. I went over it before he bought and found no leaks or soft spots around sink, shower, or roof, white ceilings clear of any stains. The rear clearance lights look like they leaked at some point but have been resealed, some ripples below them. It's had little use, there is no wear on the carpet, table varnish or furniture.
*note picture 4, the green tapes still on the stainless.
