Got a good deal on a set of Lippert steps for our Connect. Set them up temporarily and they work great but they won't fold up as they are too wide. They should fit 25 to 28.5 door frame and ours is 26. Anyone else ran into this issue?

How to measure for Solid Step
Two quick measurements are all you’ll have to take to find the right Solid Step for your RV.
Measure the height from the ground to your entry door threshold. 22”-28” = Solid Step Premium Double 27”-36” = Solid Step Premium Triple 34”-44” = Solid Step Premium Quad Measure inside edge to inside edge of your entry door frame — rounding up to the nearest even number. This will determine if you need the 26” or 30” Solid Step assembly. 26” Solid Step® (fits entry widths 25” - 28.9”) and 30” Solid Step (fits entry widths 29” - 36”)

You leave dirt and water =outside=, where they belong and you don't have to hook up and pull your rig out of storage if you need to access the inside if the lot's too tight. Lyle

I got the Glowstep Revolution last year and can't believe I waited so long. My wife and I really like them, and both of us have bad knees. I got them specifically because where I store it, I didn't have the room to flip out the solid steps. I can deploy the Revolution steps in very tight quarters if I really need to get in. Please note that the treads won't be level, so you have to be careful if you use them.
I saved the bouncy steps so that I can re-install them when we change trailers and I can take my Revolution steps with me.

For those that have the solid steps I can't decide on the 3 step or 4 step. I'm afraid with the 4 step there could be a chance they wouldn't extend all the way down. 36 inch threshold height is max for 3 step 44 inch for 4 step.

Doesn't lippert have guidance on which ones to choose based on your ground to threshold height? What is your measurement?

I have the 4 step with a measurement of 41.5” to bottom of door from the gravel. On a level site I move the legs up a bit.
