Well Thursday is the big day the trailer gets hauled the Dealer in Tacoma to get all new slide floors an fix two slide walls from de-lamination
in our now 4 3/4 old Durango Gold G384RLT from water damage to the slide floors Ugh
As I stated in an early post I can't believe I could have had water damage on three slides an de-lamination in something that has been closed
up half of it's life but what the hey I don't need the 7k for the repairs anyway
I still believe that the trailer is built well, but apparently the seals really are not the best even after the dealer an Kz both said
Insurance company stated because it was not storm damage we are are on our own, forever insurance stated they do not cover
water damage but both stated that if the slides fell out on the ground they would cover such, go figure !!!!
Dealer said they would have it repaired in three weeks, I'm not sure about that an I'm not sure if they are going to replace the complete
floors or just part of the floors an what they are going to do the slide walls which have de-lamination ...
Be sure that I want to see all the bad slide floors an when the say replacing the slide floor it means the complete slide floor not some hack
job an I don't want to hear that the bleached the inner an outer walls an put some kind of filler in the walls replacing the water damage ....
I realize that after two years my warranty was up an Kz is not really responsible an yes Kz did say they would sell me the repair parts
at less than what the dealer was charging an I do thank them for the offer but would I do with three slide floors for over three months
waiting for my appointment .... An as far as ording the parts, i'm not a RV repair person an my Dealer did not say what parts were needed
so how would I really know how many screws, staples, floor cover under the slide, nuts bolts etc ....
I was sort of hoping that maybe Kz would step up an talk with the dealer to find out what really went wrong an why this happened to a
trailer that is not that old ... Are last 5th wheel was well over 14 years an never had a seal leak on the two slide or roof, so I can't
for the life of me figure out when wrong hear an no one at the dealer of Kz can answer the question Ugh !!!!
Every one have a great day an safe trips, it's 108 degrees here so we are hiding out in the house with the air running full blast LOL
PS: Kz Mod can you talk with Mark, I need a little help with the dealer "Tacoma RV" please
