Durango 326RLT We did our first shakedown trip this past weekend. Found 2 issues, possible fix?
1: TV (65inch) in rear living area does not get the antenna signal very well. It will drop the signal and all channels show no signal. I have compared it to the bedroom TV and the Cargo TV and they are fine, All channels showing.
Does this sound like a TV issue or a Line to the back of the camper issue? To me sounds like a line issue.
2: The most important issue: I cannot drain the Grey tank, The pull cable only comes out about 1 inch and stops. Black one is fine, but the grey does not pull out. Was thinking of dropping the underbelly material and looking at the connection. Any tips on this?
3: what does everyone use for tire pressure max/min and temperature ranges. I set my tire link for 90lbs but it alarms when it hit 90lbs, might have it to low. Just curious what everyone else sets their limits at.
Thanks for any information provided. Kerry

Well, as far as the tv signal goes, I would be suspect of a splitter somewhere. My main tv had same issue, and hopefully dealer has corrected it this week. Gray tank handle, I'd try to get it in before opening the underbelly. Mine had a twisted cable on one black tank, again hopefully fixed this week.

Oh the tire pressure, Mine is set to alarm at 100 psi, since my cold temp is 110 psi. What is your cold pressure? My tpms said to set them 10 psi lower.

Agree this could be a splitter issue OR simply a loose connection. If connections are tight, then replace with a =good= splitter.

If you want to do this yourself, see if you can locate the valve and cut a "window" in the coroplast. Cut along 3 sides with the uncut "hinge" side to the front. Swing the panel out of the way and see if you can do anything from there. When done, fixed or not, simply use some Gorilla tape to tape up the cuts. If you can't easily fix it, then off to a dealer and let them deal with it. Be interesting to see if it's junk left in the tank that's jamming the valve or if it's the cable.

I have no experience with a TPMS, so really can't answer the question.

Thanks for the reply's, I figure I would take a peak, I have no idea where the splitter would be located to check that. If I could find it and change 2 of the cables to different ports and see if it follows the move. Just to rule out splitter, cable or TV issue. the tank would be a little harder, there is a mounting point to the coroplast with a bunch of screws in it. I was going to just take a couple of
those screws out and take a peak. I have plans for April 16th weekend in Homosassa Springs, FL but could not get the unit into the dealer until April 1st. Hope they could get it fixed in time. Otherwise I will just have to get it back from them and be careful with how much grey water I could use.
We will see. Thanks for the TPS suggestions. First time using the system.
Thanks, Kerry

I live in Gainesville, FL which is about 1 to 2 hours from Homosassa Springs. Easy trip. Going with 3 other camper friends. Plan on having a good time.

I had issues with coax cables from day one, I bought one of these, Klein Coax tester, from Lowes or Home Depot about $30.
This might help you trouble shoot it.

Splitter in our 5th wheel is behind the bedroom TV, there has been many owners on this form that have found loose connectors ... At 2nd Kz Rally in 2017 the Kz RV tech stated they had some problems with splitters in 2017 but seemed to have worked their way thought that run of bad ones when he looked at ours, he still replaced it just to be on the safe side .... What he found with our TV problem was the antenna, a year later he found that EDD505 had the same antenna problem(Bad antenna) .... Since replaced our an I beleve EDD's has work well since then .... Safe Travels Chuck

Tire pressure has two alarms (for pressure) ... one for too low and one for too high. My cold tire pressure is 100 psi, my low alarm is 90 and my high alarm is 125.

On the gray tank, at the rally couple years ago someone had this issue. They found the cable had not been cut to length and was coiled in the belly.

Good luck!! I have a four year old Durango 2500 336RET. Both my sewer and grey cables finally seized up on my last trip last November. Called the dealership in Connecticut and brought it in. They replaced both cables under my Forever Warranty I received for the purchase of the fifth wheel in 2017. $712 job didn’t cost me a cent. They repacked the bearings and replaced the stack in the water heater as well. Tested it all before I left the dealership. All OK. Also adjusted two of the three slides with new rollers and tightened my slide out toppers and recalled the roof where needed. I’m down in Myrtle Beach now for our first trip of the year and everything is working smooth as silk. I don’t know if any of you were offered that warranty but it has been worth it even though I didn’t pay for it. It’s like new! Hell, I’m thinking of throwing a “For Sale” sign on it🤪.

I have read about Chuck’s dilemma. He carries the ball and takes it to the end zone for KZ and gets sent sideways. Truly a shame. Why the warranty worked flawlessly for me and not him, who knows? Maybe it’s the dealership? My dealership doesn’t sell KZ any longer but they are standing by mine.

we bought into the forever warranty, we are having some de-lamanation problems an called them up to see if we were covered, they said no way, only things like what you had, freig, stove, electrical was covered... Since the trailer is 4 years old an two years out of warranty Kz wll not cover such ...
Safe travels ....

Well After first Shop visit, 50/50 on fixing stuff. Connex TV still not working, Really think this TV needs to be replaced. About 15 mins after TV has been running, I lose all signal in on over the air TV. They replaced cables but no fix. Grey Tank, Got working but ordered a pull cable, Waiting for that to come in, They will send a mobile tech to our next camping site to replace the cable.
Real happy about that. Electric has been fixed, Lose wire was repaired. Front Cap resealed and screwed back together. All in All, they did a good job, Just have to work on getting the TV replaced under warranty. Optimum RV in Bushnell Florida/Ocala Florida.
