I have just purchased an KZ 17 escape hatch 2021. I would like to know procedures to winterize using an air compress to clear out the lines. I have watched on YouTube how to winterize other RVs ;however ,I know each one is a little different. Thanks!

Shouldn't be much difference from what you found on the web. Get one of these Using a pressure regulator, reduce air pressure to 20 PSI or so & blow the lines out, don't forget to pour some antifreeze down every drain to protect the P traps / the drains to protect the grey & black tanks / valves from the water that goes down the drains during the blowout procedure.

Make sure your low point drains are open at least. There's got to be somewhere for the air to escape to. I usually have all of the faucets open as well so that the air can try to move any water that is sitting in the lines. Think of a straw dipped into water and you hold the top and pull it out of the glass - the water will stay in the straw until you remove your finger.

I had a fitting break on the toilet, so I also would have foot lever on toilet depressed as well.

Don't forget to drain the water heater. Hot low-point won't always do that.

Don't forget to drain the water heater. Hot low-point won't always do that. Lyle WARNING make sure you release pressure on water heater pressure valve an let water heater cool off before removing anode/drain plug !!!!!! if not it can cause bodily harm from hot water

keep the air pressure down I set 40-50lbs. Open all low points, open faucets, shower, toilet, washer lines, drain hot water tank. I tag the tank switches as a reminder the tanks empty, should have added the anodes rods out. Filled the system this month and had water running out of the water heater - duh.

OK, Utiling air pressure @ 35psi I drain the hot water heater and then opened the faucet, shower and flushed the toilet one at a time. I had everything else closed. However, I found the low point drains later and opened those as well after the fact. Note I put an anode rod back in when doing this procedure. Next time I will have my low point drains open and anoid rod in or out when doing this procedure?

You should have the low point drains open, and put your water heater in bypass mode. I leave the anode rod out until ready to fill the tank again. It lets air get in there to help evaporate any water that might be stuck.
