Just a heads up for those that do their own work or carry spare parts while on the road, this would have mean no tail lights w/o a spare fuse handy.
I was working on a lighted headache rack and dropped a wire, you know it had to short & blow the fuse for trailer lights. Not a problem I have lots of them in the shop, open the hood & fuse panel and ?? square fuses? I have glass, blade, mini blade and never seen square. Off to the parts store, $5 one fuse! So I need a supply of square and found out the are called J fuses. Amazons my friend, what a deal 30 assorted $16, this "new" to me is in Ford/Chevy/Toyota. You may want to check your vehicles to see what kind of fuses you need. Just saying it could be an inconvenience if you don't have a replacement.

Thanks, that's something I need to do, as it seems no one uses "normal" fuses now, all sorts of tiny wacky fuses out there.

Yes I did, and the $5.00 fuse is really a rip, but that seems to be the current trend. When Ford started using those super size 40a fuses back a few years they were stupid expensive. Looks like I am Amazon bound.....
