Hello everyone, My wife and I are looking at the Connect SE 241BH or Connect 251BH. I know the 251 is a new model, but I was just curious what the main differences are between Connect SE and Connect? Any recommendations?
I am looking at the KZs because they seem to be built with better materials. Is that what all of you have found? Have they been good to follow through on their two year warranty?
Thanks, Ryan

Welcome to the forum. I can't comment on the model differences, but I can comment on KZ quality. We have had our Durango for over two years, 15K miles. Everything still works well, no major issues. Warranty issues seem to be more dealer related than actual KZ issues, in that if you have a dealer who keeps track of things, repairs do seem to get done.

idaho2020 As well Welcome to the Kz family an forum. I as well can't comment on the model differences, but I as well can comment on KZ quality. We have had our Durango for over three years, 25K miles. Everything still works well, no major issues.
As you can read on this form an other forms warranty issues seem to be more dealer related than actual issues, in that if you
have a dealer who keeps track of things, repairs do seem to get done. Every time we have have had a warrenty issue Kz has bent over backwards to fix such way beyond what was needed in all case's, our dealer not so much ....

Some are the difference's I know of are. They have slighly different florrplans per the website. SE, plastic toilet, the window is an option, Queen Bed, Connect, porcelain toilet, fiberglass front cap, window in front is standard, King Bed, option for Luxury Edition (opt) includes solid surface countertops, 5.1 stabilizing system, frameless windows, painted front cap, and roller shades. If you want to really compare here are links to KZ's website. The dealers I have been to have been very little help on this subject. www.kz-rv.com/products/connect-se-travel-trailers/features.htmlwww.kz-rv.com/products/connect-travel-trailers/features.html

Welcome. I'd do the side-by-side via the website. I was shocked at how little the RV dealer/sales people know about the different models. They have to sell everything, so they know some basic details, but trust me, you probably know a lot more about the differences in manufactures or models if you have done 40 hours of research. We have a CONNECT C261RB and it's awesome. 5 trips in, 2,000+ miles and ZERO things we needed the dealer to fix. We had to tighten a few waterlines, drainlines, etc... basic home maintenance in my opinion.
RV's are also a bit like cars... same model, same year, but made on two different weeks and one is perfect and one has problems.... best to pick a dealer that has a good repair reputation.
