I have a 2020 sportsmen se 260bh and in the front compartment on the left side looking to the front of the trailer is a small wooden area boxed in that is separated at one corner. There is a white hose protruding from it that is not hooked to anything on one end. I was hoping someone could tell me if that is how it should be or if it should be connected to the water tank. I hate to break the box apart further if it is used as a vent or something like that and is as it should be.
Thanks to anyone who could help me with this.

My guess is that the hose is for winterizing. I would open the box and see what is inside. Did you buy new or is there a chance someone modified the plumbing?

I did buy the unit new. I pulled the open part wider open and saw it was attached to the pump. It comes off a T above the pump and there appears to be no place to attach it. I am sure it is as you guys have said or just a place to vent. Thank you for your replies.

There should be a valve on that line that turns off the pickup line for the fresh water tank. When you turn the valve off, it will then be able to pull the anti freeze from the bottle.

I agree with the op, it has to be a siphon hose, but here we go again, salesman or RV Tech at the dealer should have shown you this an it's function while doing your Pre Delivery Inspection (PDI) shame on them for not doing such Ugh
