Due to hard of hearing, loud ac between tv and viewers and poorly placed factory speakers, I am considering a Bluetooth transmitter on tv and speaker (possible small sound bar) on table between our recliners. Hopefully this will eliminate the confusing noise levels when ac is running and blasting sound levels when ac cycles off. I would prefer transmitter able to link to speaker and head phones at same time. I am one who repels technology so any advice is appreciated.

I use one like this in the bedroom for music because there are no speakers. link
With it I can stream Pandora for the music I like, just tie it to you TV and set it beside you.

thanks for the reply Zanderman and Edd505. I have been lucky! I bought 2 sets of bluetooth noise canceling head phones with transmitters at Ollies ($20 each) and a blue tooth speaker ($16). No they are not low latency. and there is a very slight delay between lips and sound when watching tv but for the price difference of the units i researched it is very tolerable. my older Vizio smart? tv has an adjustment which greatly reduces the delay. now the DW and i can either use headphones or listen to a common speaker on the table between us. small pleasures are great.
