I am stationary for several months at a time.
My black valve seems to be leaking. Over the course of a few days I see black tank contents in the clear hose connector at the sewer inlet.
I've used the on board tank flush; a reverse flush, and a sewer rinse from the toilet. Nothing seems to have helped.
Both gray and black tanks have cable pull valves. The handles never seem to rest against the hanging bracket, and must be given a extra push to close. They both seem to back out a bit. I hate that type of valve.
What I am thinking is to separate the black and gray pipes before the Y pipe. Route another piece of pipe to the outside, put a bend connector so the pipe runs to a Y pipe under the frame after new T valves - no cables.
Just looking to see if anyone has had a similar problems and their solutions, or thoughts on my solution.
Thanks, Al

Why not just replace the cable valve? If the cable works and the seals just gone bad in the valve it's an easy, but messy job. Drain & flush as well as you can. Put a pan under your work area (oil drain pan from Wally World it's wide) Video on replacing. I have replaced one on an older 5W and carry a spare slide valve, just in case. Keep the cables lubed and you should be good.

We just purchased a 2023 383rlq a couple months ago and have the same issue. Last place we stayed We did not have a sewer connection. No biggie, we have one at our property where we keep our RV. Went to connect the sewer pipe and it was FULL! Both cable handles where pushed in as far as they would go. So obviously they are not closing all the way. I have ordered a glue in block valve that I am going to install right at the hose connection.

I cut off the end cap and installed a final gate valve that has an end cap on it. The tanks can leak but you can remove and install your sewer hose without getting anything on you

I'm with Cherokee, I haven't had an RV yet where I never received an unwanted surprise because a valve leaked our the gate valve wasn't pushed in all the way. So right from the dealer on my new unit I installed a permanent gate valve at the connection point so no more surprises even if either valve leaks. Link below on amazon. Best $50 you can spend in my opinion. www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00594B1KA/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_image?ie=UTF8&psc=1
