I have used the teflon lube plate now on two 5th wheels an like it pretty well, shows no ware on the current one after almost 3 years, but I also use grease on the king pin as well ... Safe Travels  Chuck What he^^^ said. Lube plate and grease on the pin. Lyle |

I still use the old nasty grease couple times a year. Never seen a lube plate on the big rigs, they all still use grease and do 1000's of miles a month. Reason why is hardly anyone hauls the same trailer consistently. This coming from someone who leased commercial trailers for 5 years. But they are available for the big ones.  |
