Wow...you guys are making me feel bad. Last summer I went from Denver to Great Falls (750 miles) and the next day Great Falls to Banff (400 miles). Coming back went from The Dalles in Oregon to Ogden, Utah (650 miles) and the next day Ogden back to Denver (502 miles). When I retire in the next year or so, I won't be doing crazy stuff like that....any more !
Sounds like us! We drove from a little south of Denver to Billings in one day (~650 miles). Next day was Billings to Glacier NP where we stayed 4 days and then on to Banff. The drive from Glacier to Banff took more out of me than the drive from Denver to Billings. The border crossing took an hour and the wind was a crosswind from the left. Long day.
Return trip was Banff to Lewis and Clark N.F. Just one night there then to Yellowstone for 5 days. From Yellowstone to home was about 620 miles.
We had a blast but that was too much driving and not enough hiking for me. Six days of driving. It was funny when we pulled into Yellowstone and I told my wife we'd been so far north that it took us two days to drive back to half way between north pole and the equator! LOL
Ohhh...the wind ! We drove from Great Falls to Banff twice and both times I had extremely strong headwinds almost all the way to Calgary !!

If you are long distant drivers, definitely stop and get out to walk awhile often. A woman ask to speak at a rally last year and told us that she lost her health husband due to blood clots. The doctor felt is was due to not getting out and moving during long trips. She just wanted to pass the word along to save us her grief. Take it for what it is worth....a stretch never hurts. Happy and Safe Travels Based on the frequency I have to stop and pee....I think I have this covered !!!

I do not like setting up in the dark so 350 to 400 miles seems about right, figuring frequent bladder stops every two hours or so.

I see it's a old post but great info. We did a month and a half trip 2 years ago from Riverside Ca. down thru San Antonio TX, up to Little Rock AR, up as far as Pawhuska OK, back west over to Flagstaff AZ and then back home. Did a little over 4000 miles. We stayed some places 3-4 days, some just the night. Our mode when driving was try to pack up and leave around 9am and be set back up by 3-3:30 max. Had one 6 hour day but most were in the 3-4 hour drive days. I won't drive with the rig at night period and anything over 6 hrs is not happening on a fun trip. Why? It's suppose to be fun not work. Used RV Wizard to plan the trip and camp grounds. Worked really well for distances and time to drive. Once we get moved out of this state and over into AZ here next month we'll head out on a 2 month trip when it cools off a little.
