I wish that manufactures would offer an interior with pine or ash or similar light colored cabinets and décor!!!!!!!!! Not everyone likes a dark camper. Makes you feel like you're living in a cave! And get rid of the carpet!!!!!!!!!!!!! Any thoughts?

In our G364RLT we only have carpet in the bedroom an a strip on the main slide that has the dinning room table an under the theater seats, other than those to place bare flooring even in bathroom... In fact we have put rungs down in bathroom an hallway, I hate bare floor on my tootsies

At the rally the question of carpeting came up and according to the factory reps, there are certain places carpeting is needed like under the flush floor slides to help in their operation.
Could they use a different material, I'm sure they could.
They also said carpeting is making a comeback and will most likely be offered as an option in future models.
As far as wood work color, the RV manufacturers Interior designers just like home interior follow trends, plus the fact you are camping , things get dirty.
I prefer and have light colored furniture in our Durango and it's had enough to keep that clean.

I'd love to see them offer a "leatherette" delete in favor of cloth. Really stupid when you have to throw towels or blankets over your furniture to keep from getting swamp-a$$.

I'm with jetzen, we have the light colored furniture in our Durango an we prefer it, but as stated it's at times a bear to keep clean if you don't keep after it ... We have old quilts we put on the daveport for the dog to sleep on just like home, she's a real couch potato like me 
An we have some type of so called leatherette or what ever they want to call it now days, bit it's not cloth which we had in our old 5th wheel, thus another eason we bought our Durango Gold

We use spray on "dry" shampoo for longer dry camping trips. Works pretty good but not great.

I've cut my hair 3x in the past 20+ years. First time was 26" as a fundraiser then donated it to Locks of Love. 2nd time was about 8 years later and was 24". Last time was Feb 2017, when I sent a pony tail off with my mom after she died (she never liked it). Back to about 14". Can no longer donate it as there's too much grey. As we only 'dock 3-4 days, max, I don't worry about it. Lyle |
