I stayed here glaciermeadowrvpark.com/?utm_source=campgroundreviews.com&utm_campaign=RVLife_Campgrounds&utm_medium=referralJust outside the park and toured from there. Water & electric, dump on site, free pump out Mon/Wed/Fri sign up at registration desk. It's far enough out electronics don't work, no cell or TV. WiFi in the shelter. Dark, dark nights, so if you watch the sky ...... Don't miss Hidden Lake, all day hike on a well maintained trail, lots of up but plenty of places to sit and rest. Take water & a lunch, wild goats, marmots, and we saw a grizzly leaving. (little gal on a bike had no idea it was there just off the road) Going to the sun highway scenic tour Museum of the Plains Indian, in Browning, Junction Cafe just as you enter Browning. The Rock 'n Roll Bakery, East glacier

Going to the Sun Highway is a must see as EDD505 has indicated. We took trail rides on both sides of the mountain....totally different eco-systems on the 2 sides of the mountain. Really enjoyed that experience. Other suggestions by Edd505 are great too. Can't offer a campground, we were moteling...ugh!... during that era of our lives. I liked Glacier better than Yellowstone, so scenic.

Thanks, Yeah we are staying in park at Fish Creek Campground - appreciate the insight we will try to tackle some of the suggestions for sure. I know we are doing a horseback/boat ride one day and driving into Canada and staying one night in hotel to see Waterton area as well.

Sorry I'm late to the party. You're going to have an amazing time at Glacier. We stayed in Many Glacier Campground. It was beyond beautiful. Traffic on the Going to the Sun road was pretty heavy. Alpine visitor center parking lot was full so we weren't allowed to stop. Give yourself extra time for the border crossing into Canada. It took nearly an hour.
We can't wait to go back.
Good luck!
