Okay another add for I wish they would. How about a vent & fan like the bathroom in the bedroom, gets stuffy up there.

Chuck ... were your flat bed’s bushings made out of plastic (or nylon ... or whatever they are made of)? I suspect they were brass or bronze ... nylon is a very light duty bushing. If I had them, I would expect to replace them every two years or 10,000 miles ... but I am very conservative in my approach to maintaining my rig. Ron
Since I was not present when my son replaced such I will have to ask him if he remembers, all I know was he stated they needed replaced an he would pay for the parts an replace such on his dime ... I wasn't going turn down replacing
them for free LOL so I told him to have at it
Since he has the trailer more than I do in the last few years ugh! I can not look an even see what the wet bolt kit
looks like... I know he order the kit from a parts dealer in Tacoma an had to wait a week or more for such an he did state they had brass bushings so I would almost bet they are MorRyde but I have been wrong at least once this week maybe more LOL ...
Chuck
Ron
Bushing on older flat bed trailer was brass new bushing were brass but not MorRyde, kid could not remember other than it was not MorRyde or what brand it was but he stated the bushing were brass ....
I stop by my local RV Shop today an they had once of my bushings on display with a two line caption under it that stated "Have you check on your Spring bushings lately this person didn't" , I had to laugh an then almost cried thinking about what could have happened if I had not changed to a new suspension ... Talk about fat dumb an happy Ugh who would have guessed ....

Bedroom windows are slide up to open not out so at times rain comes in with them open. Yes I run the living room fan for vent. A vent like the bathroom or even a MaxAir with a cover and you could get fresh air any time.

Unfortunately, most RV owners have no idea what kind of suspension, or tires they have (or need). They are wowed by the furniture, curtains, appliances, etc. Structure only becomes important AFTER the education, which can come from advice of others or personal experience. Oh, and by the way ... advice of others needs to be filtered thru your own personal BS filter.

I thought you have a emergency window on the right side of your bedroom that opened up, that's what we use when raining an not the flat sliding window on the slide near the head of the bed

They are wowed by the furniture, curtains, appliances, etc. Structure only becomes important AFTER the education, which can come from advice of others or personal experience. Oh, and by the way ... advice of others needs to be filtered thru your own personal BS filter. Ron I have to agree with you, I never checked our old 5th wheel suspension except to see if the springs were broke, shackle's
were ok an wheel bears were good, all this till when having the wheel bearing repacked I was told that my spring bushings were bad ... The local RV repair shop put in Steel Encased Rubber Leaf Spring Bushings which seem to last till we traded in the 5th wheel for the new Durango Gold but I was getting nervous about such then ....
We were the second owners of that trailer an when changing out the bushings I believe it more than likely had some miles on it
when we bought it... The trailer at the time had new rubber on it an the wheel bearings an spring bushings had been changed per the next few years in Northwest on weekends an went as far as South Dakota till 2012 before it was found to need the bushings, so it didn't have thousands of miles on it ...
Saying the above this should have told me that there was a problem, I was already looking at the MorRyde 4000 suspensions when we bought are new Durango Gold an would have put such on the old 5th wheel if we would have kept it since I was getting nervous as I stated above about the spring bushing on the old trailer again...
Buying a new trailer I would have thought that the suspension parts such as the bushings would have lasted more than over 10k miles... I have no complaints about the rest of the LCI Suspension it seem to be in good working order, but as stated the bushing were worn completely though .... Nor do I have any problems with our 384 Durango Gold we have, we love it But if i would have known this at the rally I might have had such changed at the rally, but as stated I already had the MorRyde stuff in the storage area an was unaware how bad the bushings were at the time Ugh !!!
I would highly recommend checking your spring bushings on your Durango Gold if you have over say three thousand miles on it an keep an close on such there after, as nvguy guy, ronc an others an I have learned your spring bushings may, again I say may, be bad or need to be replaced, but that is up to you as ronc stated advice of others needs to be
filtered thru your own personal BS filter ....
Adding I would also recommend putting or should say attaching the X-factor cross braces from MorRyde along with the 4000 suspension to brace up the frame ... Even if you do not add the 4000 suspension help tremendously the popping an cracking when backing into or around a sharp turn ... The 1st time I backed our 384 around another trailer at the dealer I thought I broke the frame, got out an looked an ask at the service desk about such, they stated that's because the trailer is so long Ugh !!! Now that I have the X-factor cross braces from MorRyde that has gone away 95% ...
Again I will say I wish Kz would make either the LCI or the MorRyde wet bolt kits with brass bushings an option to owners or possibly just put such on an raze the price to match the cost of such... The X-factor cross braces from MorRyde or have LCI add such to their frames before delivery to KZ, the cost to such is less than $260 for the three braces ....

I didn’t know you added the X Factor braces ... those are a big upgrade to your suspension ... good for you. Yep Ron
I bought them when I bought the other stuff, Gary had forgot them when he bought the other stuff at the rally, so when we went back a few weeks later i picked up the X Factor braces then ...
One brace comes with the 4000 suspension an then you have to buy the other two, thus you have three braces across your frame, one in the middle, one at each end of the springs ....
Here is some links to other forms regarding the X-factory kits an what other think
I will say that along with the bolts in the cross-members I had them weld were the end met the other member an shim the spring hanger with washers so it wasn't bent over

Chuck’s mods are all DIY ... if you are handy. My stuff requires welding and alignment ... so best done by morRYDE ... IMO😎

Edd As long as you have some good jack stands, a hydraulic jack an a good set of sockets along with a torch wrench an
possibly a drift pin to knock out the old bushings (which in my case didn't take much) you should be good to go ...
Like I said I had them weld the X-Factory cross members at the points were they joined besides the bolts to make sure that things stayed the way they should an add a little more strength I believe in the center ...
I'm also thinking about add shocks on both axles to the mix down the road possibly next year before heading out across the country again ...
Who knows i might have to start calling our G384RLT the G384RLT-EX for experimental LOL

I agree with Edd505, MorRyde also have dealers all over the country, they will more than likely steer you to one of their dealers unless your close to them or going to be driving thought Indiana where they are located ... I will say their sales department will go out of their way to help you !!!! Safe Travels Chuck
