We have a KZ Connect C261RL, and I have read on other sites about fridges running on propane. Does anyone know if mine does? i wasn't able to find it in the literature.

Always give the brand and model number of the appliance, trailers can be optioned differently. You could also simply Google the brand and model number and get the information directly from the supplier.

As lynnmor stated the refrigerator model an name of such would be helpful, some but not all RV frigs that run on both
electric an propane will have a small cross bar/section between the frig an the freezer, an then some will have a cross
bar/section on top of the frig door with a button an a small window that when the button is pushed it will show either a
power plug or a flame (which is propane)
On older frigs they will have only a button for electric an propane which you push for either ... The newer frigs if set
correctly will change over from electric to propane when power is disconnected without anyone having to manually
change such ...
So if your propane is on an you are unplugged from power it's possible that you will hear the sound of a burner using
propane if your frig is set to do so ... If not check your little window an see if it's set to either propane or electric ....
Again if would be helpful to have the name an model of the frig to aid you in answering your question

We have a 261RB and one of the features of that model is a residential style fridge. It's larger than a normal RV fridge and the reason why is because it doesn't run on propane. Only electric and 12v. Other models we looked at did have a fridge that had a switch on it for propane or electric.
There should be a manual for the fridge as well and that would give you more info on your specific model.

How much extra battery power and inverter power is included to power it?

I know we haven't had any issues so far and love the space in the fridge. I guess we'd only experience a potential problem if we were boondocking, in which case we'd need a generator.

You are correct, boondocking it would very good idea to have a generator to run the frig an other power hungry appliances
I will say the only difference in our RV frig is that it dozen't make ice, seems to be the same size as the residential refrigerator in our G384RLT

Everything's speculation without it. Many of the KZ's can have residential or RV. I have an 18cf RV (gas/electric) several at the rally had residential means there is an inverter some where. Plus's & minus's for both.

Seems to me that the residential refrigerator would be pretty power hungry... We have never had a residential frig in any of our campers always the RV type, this same question is over on the GS Form in the 5th wheel threads ...

Chuck Yes with what he did and we moved it to the bottom shelf. Last RV said the upper left was the coldest, not so in this one.

Chuck Resurrecting this old post as I have finally got the ice cream hard.
DW noticed the black plastic flap in the center between the two doors was not sealing. On the bottom was a sticker, Made In America, we removed it and I put silicon grease on the top latch mechanism. Thermometer now reads 4 in the freezer set at 5 on the temp control.
