Well here we are the sitting in the camp grounds this year after a week at the Kz Rally
The weather this year was a little wet but all the outside games moved to the pavilion an everyone stayed dry an had a great time
There was 21 rigs this year an Lippert (LCI) an Of course Kz techs were on site an were like ants crawling over an under rigs of all shapes an
sizes from Sporters, Sporttrek, Cennections to Durango 1500 an 2500 to Durasngo Golds ... As with last year both the Kz an LCI techs did an
amazing job fixing an finding stuff not on the owners list that needed either replaced or repaired ...
The tour at the MorRyde Plant was great with lots of information as it was last year an the lunch was good as last year an provided by them,
I have to say that MorRyde goes way out of there way to to help owners understand there suspensions an are not pushy about sales, if you
want their product ok, if not ok too ...
The Kz Factory tour was also great, they like last year were very friendly an had all the managers of their different products there to answer
any questions an show off their new products coming out an changes in some of the old products like the paint work an decals on the 1500
an 2500 series which I really liked ... As with last year they ask for input on the new models an things we liked or didn't like with out units
an what was needed to change to improve on their products ... They didn't get upset when we pointed out things owners thought were
bad or needed to be changes an of course ask why they thought the changes was needed an in some cases agreed an others explained
why the did the change or moved something from one spot to another ...
All the tours an games were liked buy everyone an the pot luck was darn good as well as the fare well dinner held at an Amish Farm about
10 miles away from the camp ground ...
The DW an I met new friends an old friends alike, even thought the DW hates an I mean hates hot weather she enjoyed herself as I did
an may come back again next year if my heath permits an life dozen't get in the way ...
I think jetzen an his DW did a great job they put together a great rally even if there was a few speed bumps in the road before the rally...
The Kz people seem to be happy with everything an a few of the middle management people attended some of the dinner functions an even
cooked some darn good corn (thank you Kz mod)
In the end I would like to see the rally grow again next year to possibly 35 to 40 units, thus again not to big but not to small, I believe
Kz would also like to see it grow an I think this is possible with help from others in both the planning, setup, tours an venders ...
The wagon master can be the overseer of all but have different people doing the tasks taking the stress off himself like any good
manager .... I know it was stated at last years rally that if the rally grew to a point they would then like to see the different brands
divided into there own rally's, will this ever happen, more than likely not in my lifetime but one never knows, this years rally doubled
in size in just a few weeks after it was put out an even thought a few owners dropped out it was still double the size of last year ...
Would I like to see it grow to a few hundred, no not really, I think that's to impersonal, but adding a few more to the mix I believe makes it
even better
This is only what I have seen this week, others may agree an disagree, it is only my thoughts
Safe Travels
Chuck
