I don't do toll roads if at all possible. In PA, consider 322 NW to I80 W, then change to I76 W in Ohio, then I71 SW to US30 W to US33 NW to 5 N. I have run this a number of times and found good roads, no money wasted on tolls and far less stressful driving. are you planning on attending the rally? No plans as of this time. We haven't planned anything yet for 2019, but the rally will be considered.

Newbie here. Picking up our new kz trailer next April and looking forward to attending this rally in august. Quick question though. We will likely be vacationing with my parents before the rally and convoying to the rally with them as well. They have a forest river 5th wheel. I am hoping they will be able to find other sites at the same campground and babysit our 3 year old so both my wife and I can fully participate in events. Does anyone see an issue with this. Tks

The only issue I see is the convoy, something I have learned to never do. Keep in touch by phone and forget about making visual contact. You will have enough to do without trying to maintain a convoy.

Totally agree. Convoy was just my simple one word way of saying that we will be travelling together in 2 separate rigs is all. Dont plan on travelling whole trip with line of site or anything, but valid point. Cheers

I think the question was missed. From our experience in the past, the campground is open to anyone, there is an area designated for Rally participants. Others are willing to camp but cannot participate in the KZ Rally events and activities unless they own a KZ or Venture brand. I would get reservations in soon.

we will be leaving from Northern Delaware (Newark) going to try to go for the entire event,,, let us know what route you may be planning to take, and when it gets closer the dates your trying to go... Will do. What direction do you usually take to get out there? I was thinking of taking PA turnpike. We would probably stay somewhere near Cedar Point, OH. Seems like close to the mid way point. There is a really nice KOA in Stoney Ridge Ohio, we stay in it every year the week before the rally...

Newbie here. Picking up our new kz trailer next April and looking forward to attending this rally in august. Quick question though. I am hoping they will be able to find other sites at the same campground and babysit our 3 year old so both my wife and I can fully participate in events. Does anyone see an issue with this. Tks There is I believe 125 sites at the camp ground, the Rally may take up a number of sites, that leaves a number of other sites available ... The Kz sites have in the past been for the most part all together, there has been exceptions but for the most
part you will be next to another Kz owner not another name brand manufacturer, your parents may be always, away from you but still there
But If I were you, I would book as early as possible for you an your parents because there a number of rally's around the area
an people book at this camp ground before going to other rally's ... Example is last year Forest River had a rally a few weeks
after the Kz rally, but their rally was at a fair grounds a ways away an they could not get in till a few days before their rally...
Thus numbers of them that were early were camping in other camp grounds around the area, unlike Kz which is a small rally
Forest River has hundreds of owners thus the area around such is flooded with such before their rally ...
Right now jetzen has blocked out a number of sites for the Kz rally with the camp ground, thus once you call the camp ground
an sign up with jetzen you are assured of a site within the group, jetzen will set the limit of rigs that can attend the rally, so
again booking early assures you of getting a spot, so don't wait till the last minute because you may be on the outside looking
in so to speak ... But like last year I'm sure there will be a waiting list an I'm sure there will be people who do to life may have
to drop out an thus people on the waiting list are able to get in
I would add that when booking make sure you add that you are with the Kz Rally to get the site discount ...

welovedisney I will say that there for the most part is not a list before hand, however there will be a signup sheet for the pot luck an you can see some of the people who will be attending ... The other way is to watch the form an see who posts regarding such an thus get a pretty good idea who is going ... Right now just a quick look besides you there are others going including myself that have signed up, but
I'm sure there are others who have signed up but just not posted such ... I do know of at least two others who do not post much here on the form but have been at the rally the last two years, one for Canada an one from Louisiana so you can add two more ... As well there was a number of people who were at the rally last year who stated they would be back again this coming year an they may have already signed up ...

Is there a program for the different events/days? Just wondering if events are planned each day or if it mostly “free” time.

Is there a program for the different events/days? Just wondering if events are planned each day or if it mostly “free” time. The itinerary has not been set yet as to what the daily events will be. However I have been sending emails to all attendees for event sign-up. So watch you email for rally updates. I am still waiting for vendor response as to scheduling tours and luncheons. Also being that the rally is getting larger every year I need head counts as to what events you will be attending. Again watch you email. There will be as much "freetime" for you as you yourself deem appropriate. There will be events scheduled every day, none are manditory. As far as the itinerary it will be published sometime late June early July and you will be emailed a copy, plus you will get a hard copy at the rally. There will be something scheduled every day. There will be free factory tours with luncheons, museums, pot luck dinners, a banquet, evening adult games and time to socialize with other KZ'ers. Plus time to go out and explore on your own. So be patient everything will fall into place and I can't stress enough to watch your email.
