We just bought a 2006 Sportsmen 3254 and can't seem to find any information on it. I need to know the weight, unloaded and loaded. Grey and black tank capacities. I also can't figure out how to fill the fresh water tank. Any help would be greatly appreciated. TIA

Scales are available at some truck stops, quarries, feed mills and other places. There should be a sticker on the drivers side, on the entry door or inside a cabinet with weight information. There should be a tag on an axle to tell you the maximum weight per axle, but tires, springs and frame might lower that figure. Tank capacities are best measured using a 5 gallon bucket if you can't see the figure on the tank. Typically 5th wheels from that era used 40 and 50 gallon tanks and travel trailers were 32 gallons. See, you didn't even tell us what you have and brochures only go back to 2009. You should tell us what water connections you have. If there is no gravity fill port then you fill by directing water from your city water inlet to the tank by opening a valve (usually chrome). It is full when water pours out vents in the bottom. If you have a gravity fill port, simply shoot the water in there till it overflows. Photos are a good thing if you can do that.

As stated it's a 2006 Sportsmen 3254. There are no stickers on driver's side except axle ratings. There is no separate freshwater tank fill. There are at least 5 valves near the City water connection. When opened water just runs out one or the other of two sets of outlets coming out the bottom. The freshwater tank never shows any water and the pump will not pump.

If water runs out the vents, the tank must be full. If a gage reads empty, perhaps it is faulty. Some of those 5 valves may be for water heater bypass, a photo would be helpful. There should be only 2 or 3 valves to set for filling, city water or tank water. There may be a winterizing hose with a valve. Experiment with different combinations of valve openings, without photos I can only guess. It might be that a previous owner made changes.
