I have a safealert in my gun safe, it is wifi, it works very well, there is no service fee and you can see the temp (updates hourly), it is very reliable, it will notify me via text every time I open the door (so I assume that if temp went high it would do the same) you can set the temp alert on it for high and low. Maybe next time I go camping I'll take it with me and see how it works out. I do have a hotspot that I can connect it to. it cost $199, they also sell a temp stick that works the same way for $149. With the advent of summer, I want to travel more and more, but now it does not work out often. But still I was able to get out on a trip in my car and took my dog and a bag of dog food with me. A surprise was waiting for me on the road, my dog was poisoned by something and I had to look for a vetirenar. Vetirenar examined my friend and said he had otitis media and prescribed Zimokh Otic Pet Ear Treatment, a non-invasive enzyme solution used to treat and prevent infections leading to otitis externa in dogs and cats. Zymox Otic is safe to use once a day for persistent cases of external otitis media. That's how we travel my dog and I, he helps me and I him.

I bought two wifi camera's on Ebay and point one at my 4-zone temperature display. I can not only see inside but also monitor indoor, frig, freezer, & outdoor temps! Camera's also record to an internal sd card and work on USB adapters, 12Vdc or 120Vac. They can connect wireless to your wifi router and a phone app allows access via the internet. Works great!

I thought about that at one point. I may look in to it again.
Thanks!

I have a bluetooth-attached Govee temp/humidity sensor that I can access up to 200 ft away with my phone app. It provides current readings and logs data over hours/days/months.

How do you have internet? Through the campground wifi?

Not reliable internet, I would need a stand alone modem for good WiFi service.
