I just got a 2018 kz escape 191bh. I want to install a tv in it. I am not sure where to install the mount for it though. There is the cable jack & power outlet on ceiling to the right of the door when you walk in but nothing says where it is ok to screw the mount in. I've heard there should be a sticker but there is not. Any suggestions? I emailed the company but they never got back to me.

On outside walls, KZ usually installs thin steel sheet metal just under the paneling. Get a strong magnet and try to find that sheet metal in the area above the window. Outline the limits with masking tape and then install your mount within the boundaries using sheet metal screws.

Please share what size TV you mounted and what type of bracket you used. We also have an Escape 191BH and are wanting to install a TV.
We would also like to be able to move the TV outside, but there is no TV jack on the exterior... Is it possible to run a cable within the wall from the jack in the ceiling to the outside? Possibly a really long flexible drill bit to get through the foam installation (probably just wishful thinking, or very expensive)?

The magnet worked great! Thank you for the help! We used Master Mounts 2311L Locking RV TV Mount with easy chain release. The TV we installed was a 24 inch tv/DVD combo. Everything turned out excellent!

Is the TV centered and locked above the window with this mount? Same camper, also adding a 24" dvd combo and hoping the tv wont be in front of the door when locked in place.

Hey all...
I am trying to install a tv mount as well... I see where the sticker is on the wall... is it ok to just screw into it, with the screws provided by the tv mount? I hear that there is a metal plate in the wall.
Thank you for the help

Use sheet metal screws that enter the wall about 1/2".

We have the same model and I can't for the life of me figure out how you can mount it without the tv being in front of the door when closed. The backing plate is directly next to the door and only extends about 5 inches. This seems like a massive mistake given how much it costs to get pre-wired for cable.
