We left Phoenix this morning and everything worked fine.
This afternoon when stopping at Lake Havasu , the main street side slide would not open. It appears to be out of alignment.
Any suggestions?
I was going to try the manual open/retract, but doubt it would work. It will go out a couple of inches. When that happened with the curb side it was a pinched wire.
This is a DG 380FLF, so the bedroom and living room are flipped-flopped.
Thanks in advance, Al

I can't get to my book manual since the slide is blocking the cabinet where it is.
What's the way to manually operate the slide?
Thanks.

Solved,I think.
Talked to Lippert and KZ today.
Lippert is pretty sure the problem is either a shorted wire or a bad motor or a wire inside of the motor.
Lippert has authorized on site mobile repair when we reach Las Vegas. Just have to find someone to do the work.
KZ is working in conjunction with Lippert.
I must say, as much as I really don't care for Lippert products, this is a suprise.

I have to say, more an more I see Lippert stepping up to the plate with repairs. Like I posted on another thread on this form they repaired another brand of 5th wheels that were built in 2016 without a problem which was out of warranty Safe Travels an glad your getting it repaired, as nvguy stated let us know what it was .... No fix yet. Mobile techs hard to get out.
I maynot have described my problem properly.
This would normally be a street side bedroom slide, but we have front living room DG.
The slide will start out, as you stand inside facing the slide, the right side will move a couple of inches, but the left slide doesn't budge.
Anyone else have a similar problem.

Al I know you stated that it may be a an electrical problem with a motor, but are you sure, our G384RLT has two systems, the bedroom is operated on electrical an the other two slides are hydraulic, ie the main (passengers side)an kitchen slide (driver side) ... Added note just a thought: our bedroom motor is under our the bed, we lift the bed, take out the two chairs an lift a panel an the slide motor an slide rails are right there ... One of the problems we had when we bought our trailer home was that the bedroom would not open all the way ... It was found that two screws were hitting on the steel frame under the bed preventing it from opening ... So is the slide hydraulic, if so, check the hydraulic adjustments screws (my term) in your battery box ... One of them may have changed or got screwed in some how, thus not sending enough fluid to open that slide ... Also check you hydraulic fluid, is the reservoir full when all slides are closed, you may somehow lost some fluid ... Only guessing here, hate to see a tech arrive an say "you were low on hydraulic fluid, all fixed now " or "your hydraulic adjustment screw was turned in, all fixed " Good luck Chuck

Hey Chuck.
We have a front living room, so the slides are "reversed".
We have our 2 bedroom, your living room, slides and kitchen on one "button" on the tablet.
Our living room is electric.
FWIW, I switched the #1 motor & #2 motor plugs at the control panel and the problem side did move. So, that tells me its more than probable its a bad motor.
We finally got a mobile tech who said he would be out in the morning. Hope so.

Ok capemayal Well just trying to help out sort of brain storming Good luck hope you can get things fix quickly without much trouble Chuck Thanks Chuck. It's a inconvenience more than anything. The closest KZ dealer from here is in Quartzsite. Definitely too far to go, since we're heading in the opposite direction. I'll keep you posted. I hope the fix helps everyone. Al

The Quartzite AZ dealer is just a sales lot, Tucson, Mesa & Surprise have dealers. Unlike cars you can't just go to a KZ dealer I tried and was told we didn't sell it we won't work on it. KZ customer service authorized outside repair. Customer service 866-472-5460 is your friend when you have issues. .

Le Mesa RV is there, if that's the one, is closed for the summer. I was thinking of going there. Seems like the town just shuts down.
A tech is supposed to be here this morning, so we'll see.

Problem is solved! Turned out to be a wire harness that had come disconnected. Darryl, Jeff's RV Repair was excellent. He repaired it and made sure it was working ok. He's familiar with Lippert issues and their tablet. He accessed the motor and found the problem. He says it happens a lot with the Schwintek. We're happy with what he did, and a very personable fellow.

One at each corner at the top. You can access from the inside, behind the weather seal. It's kinda tight there.

KZ customer service works if you can ever reach them. With all the quality issues I am sure they are overwhelmed.
