Wow, I had no idea it would sell out. So does KZ have the whole campground booked? Please put us on the list.

Well darn. I don't see that email from 9 June (even checking the spam filters). Can you confirm on your side it went to wingman301@yahoo.com please? Don't want to miss other correspondence. Thanks.

Please add us to wait list. We are new to RV’ing and looking to learn from the rally. Frank Dries & Carole Meader. Wingman301@yahoo.com. On 4/28/2018 you wrote this post. This is the email address I used. I copied and paste it deleting the last period. It now appears that the information that you supplied is incorrect.
Also in a more recent post you stated that you sent me a PM with a cell number. I have received no such message that I an aware of.
I will try my best to accommodate you to find you a spot at the rally, but I am limited as to what I can do.

Excited about the rally. Wondering if you will be charging a Rally Fee? If so, do you have a projected cost. I know we will owe for the Thresher's Dinner and events/attractions we choose but will there be general costs to cover incidentals. Thanks.

bluegrass2 Not trying to speak for the Wagon master There is no rally fee to my knowledge, only pot luck dinner items you bring, thus see below As far as I know the only costs are your camp site which you pay directly to the camp ground, then the Thresher Dinner paid by you, thus as last year it will be pay as you go thus the wagon master dozen't have to put monies out of his pocket for such ... Last year when going to different functions such as the RV hall of fame it was always pay as you go an not collected by anyone before hand ... During factory tours last year you were provided a lunch at no cost to you, MorRyde even gave out T-shirts an Kz provided some prize's which was unexpected from either but was very welcome an was a surprise to all attending Safe travels look forward to seeing you at the Rally Chuck

Couldn’t get the time to get away to do this but would sure like to. Maybe I’ve done the next best thing. Or not. I started hauling campers that does about 80% of their business with KZ. Just started this week to fill my spare time and I’m sitting here in ground central tonight waiting til morning when I can pick up another. It’s proving to be fun so far. First thing I noticed is all the traffic around the area. If you’ve never been out in the area be prepared for lineups at the stop signs. Shipshewana was real busy Tuesday when I went through. If I’m out here during the rally perhaps I’ll stop in and say hello. Sans a camper of course.

I always thought delivering rv's could be a fun thing to do once a person retired, but in my mind you wouldn't make a lot of money because half of your driving is at your expense (getting back to Indiana with no trailer and no pay).

Yea, you really kind of have to work it to make anything. I did three this week. About 1200 after taking 10% out for insurance bond and the lot placement fee of $25 per unit. Then remove fuel from what’s left. I’m putting it in my business name though so hopefully their may be some benefits come tax time.

I knew a few guys that delivered RV's, they stated that they could have made more flipping hamburgs at Micky D's ...
As mudmaker stated:
10% out for insurance bond lot placement fee of $25 per unit, IFTA road use tax per mile unless the company pays for such quarterly
Your payroll tax an your SSI if your a contractor not an employee of the company
fuel
oil changes Tires
As well were do you sleep if you have long trips, so motel bills
like all truckers you have to carry a log book unless you only deliver within a 150 miles of the company/terminal
Also have to have a DOT Phy, some companies pay for such, some do not
Trucks has to be 5 years or newer from what I been told, so truck payment in some case's
There may be a few I forgotten, but as you can see unless you can get say trailers in both directions coming an going back or able to deliver a few a day the cost overrun is way high vice the take home paycheck ... This is why the RV industry is screaming for full time delivery drivers, if you near Indiana there are signs everywhere for RV delivery drivers not to mention RV workers ...
Safe travels
Chuck

10% til I reach $1000 bond held. My truck is 7 yrs old but low miles. Never discussed IFTA but I do pay for fuel. Having them pay my business so I can write off the miles. Have to have the cdl anyway for my own business. I got hooked up with the trucking business right next to KZ. And yes, there are sign all over for drivers. I wonder if they all pay the same. I’m trying this just as fill in work while my other business is slow. If it proves to be a drain, I’ll drop it real quick. As it stands though, currently I like being out driving. And it fits into my schedule seemlessly.
