That looks like a Sony Wega Trinitron tube type flat screen television. I had one in my old Montana this is how it was attached in mine. They didn't make it easy.
Take the trim off from around the fireplace. Look in the top of the opening where the fireplace insert is. there are most likely long screws that come up through the wood into the bottom of the television. The fire place insert may need to come out in order to gain access to the screws.
There may also be screws coming from the top of the entertainment center where the glass doors are.
These televisions are very front heavy and they were known to tip and fall out, so be careful.

Wow !
I wonder if you could get a mirror between the top of the TV an the bottom of the cabinet 1st to see whats what behind the TV. Or if you could find one of those camara's with a long stem an look behind the TV from the top an sides, that way you could see how it is being held ...
I'm with jetzen, you may have to go from the bottom up, I see space on top between the top cabinet an the TV ...
I believe that this really looks like a two person job, one holding the TV while the other unscrews or unbolts the brackets an safely remove it, but again I think I'd try to look behind it 1st an then plan your attack ...
Good luck, keep us posted, looks like a good DIY project for sure, picture's of the steps for sure so others may benefit from it if an when someone else wants to do it ...

Chuck We were able to see behind with my granddaughter's phone, it has a mount behind it. Just have no idea how to get to the bracket. It is a Sony Bravia flat screen. Nice TV just unable to reach the HDMI port with the way it is mounted so unable to get the internet ie netflicks ect on it. Very frustrating.

I think jetzen may be on to something, you may have to remove the fireplace, then see if there is a passageway or hole between the top of where the fireplace inset was an the bottom panel of where the TV is to gain access ...
Can you see below the TV, to see if there is an access hole before you pull the fireplace ...
The only other way they could have installed this TV was to do it before they put the top cabinet in, I mean how in the world would you screw the TV to the bracket holding it. As I see it you in no way can fit your hand between the TV an the wall, the top or bottom so it had to be installed either from the side or top at one point or another ...
Looking around the internet I did see one with a smaller TV in it, maybe they ran into the same problem an said no way am I going to put back that other TV because I can't get to the back to fasten it Ugh !!!
I do not know but maybe one of the Kz techs back in Indiana can tell how to do it, worth a call, ask them if you can talk with the the repair Tech named "Chuck" he is a pretty smart cookie an seems to know allot. I'm not saying he knows everything but I have seen him work his magic on a number of things an he has been around for a number years with Kz
Another though I had was maybe the bracket to hold the TV is attached to the bottom of the cabinet as jetzen stated an when you unfasten that bracket the TV will come forward. See if the TV back is fastened to the bottom of the TV cabinet, if so then as jetzen stated take fireplace out unbolt TV ...easy pezzeeeee
Keep us posted please on you progress

I wonder if this is why my TV is mounted above the fireplace inside of a door frame? All I have to do is open the door to access the mount.
Does that TV swivel at all? Is the mount on the back wall? Is there an access panel outside? Is there an access panel in the cabinet above it? I can't believe they would build a cabinet around the tv... electronics are normally the last things that go into an RV. Was this a used unit? Did the previous owner do something a little on the crazy side?
You know, I might be tempted to make an access panel in the cabinet above it... if all else fails. The you could put in a real TV mount that would let you pull it out.

I agree with johnr I can't see them building around the TV an thinking that was ok, what we saw on the 2500 line at the Kz factory was all the electronics going in last not 1st ...
If anything build a access panel possibly from the upper cabinet down thus you can get at the back of the TV...
Once you can get at the back then you can possibly take the TV out an get a swing arm bracket an re-attach the TV to that ...
I have to believe that you are not the only one on this site that has a trailer the same as you an has not run into this problem Ugh

It is crazy. Trying to talk Mike into removing the fireplace to look from the bottom. But no screws are visible from anyplace except the bracket at the middle of the tv. It does look like the TV was built into the cabinet which does not make sense. I was really hoping someone out there had seen something like this. Yes it is used but previous owner didn't do anything to the trailer, they only used it 2-3 times. Thanks to everyone for your support. I will keep you posted on our progress.

Thank you. Will show this to Mike and see if we can see it with the camera. It is so tight to see around the tv. No way you can even get your hand back in there. I really think that it was built in to the entertainment center. Bad design.

I really think that it was built in to the entertainment center. Bad design. That's the way the used to do things. Not really a bad design, this is an Escalade, they were built not to break. That is why they had top of the line equipment in them (for the year it was built). This 5th wheel doesn't even resemble what they build today other than it is a 5th wheel.

Just didn't think about the tv. Other than that we love this fifth wheel. We are living in it. I am a travel nurse.

Did you ever figure out how to get the television out of the entertainment center? Was just going to update everyone. My son came home and helped over the holidays. Had to take the fireplace out and cut a hole up from behind to get to the HDMI port and the bolts for the TV mount. Crazy.
