I've recruited another RVer this past weekend at Holly Rec., they are from Windsor, Canada and they were trying to figure out where they could camp at in October. I told Brian, come to the rally!

New to the site and KZ. Will be picking up a 2011 KZ Durango 1500 275 RL. The unit has been used for only 6 months and is immaculate. We are pretty excited. What luxury compared to our truck camper!
I am interested in attending the rally but can't commit at this time. We have a trip in August to the Olympic NP for a family thing. Not sure exactly when we will return.
Interestingly we were in the rally area last month and camped at a park over by Howe. My wife has ancestors buried in area.

I will talk to the campground folks Monday and get an updated count of attendees. Will get in touch With kz folks soon and firm up some plans for the different days and/or nights. Sounds like you are off to a good Start, newbie. As soon as we get a better count and further details I will post more info. In the meanwhile Keep talking up the rally. It would really be wonderful if we could rally with 20 or more rigs.

Talked to Dave Boggs at kz today. Told him that officially we have only 8 rigs that have reserved spaces for the rally. BUMMER! He said the factory Is sending notices to their dealers about the rally in hopes that they will spread the word with their Customers. We will have gifts from the factory, a door prize, and a factory tour with a preview of New units and a question and answer session with some of the factory decision makers at A dinner either Friday or Saturday night. Still more planning going on. Stay tuned and spread the Word to any other kz owners!

Everything is go! I have been talking to the folks at kz and they are notifying their dealers about the rally in an effort to further publicize it. We really would like to have more rigs attend. We will have a factory tour on Friday and are looking at a meal together one night at a popular restaurant nearby. Also a potluck supper another night with factory folks in attendance at most if not all functions. It will be a chance to talk with factory decision makers and provide input and ideas. Kz has also said the will provide "giveaways" for attendees. Northern Indiana should be nice that time of year, with cool temps and colorful foliage. Most manufacturer's owners groups have several rally's each year in different locales around the country. Hopefully, this will be the first of many. As we get nearer to the rally, we will need someone to make name tags for everyone. I will try to post a list of registered attendees fairly soon. Reservations can be made "at the last minute", provided we still have space available. Try not to wait too late! Any suggestions and input on rally are welcome. I'm looking forward to meeting all of you.

I received an email from the shipshewana north campground today. They informed me that as of today we have only 9 spaces reserved for the rally. They asked that if we don't get any more reservations in the next few days, that they would like for us to release the rest of the spaces they have reserved for our group so that they can use them for other folks. I am going to ask them to hold the extra sites till August 15th and then release any remaining sites. That means that if you would like to join us at the factory rally, you must reserve your site by August 15th or chance not having a site with the rest of us. If you reserve a site and are unable to attend, they have a pretty liberal. Cancellation policy. If you are considering attending, please make reservations soon.

Well, you can add another rig to the party. We'll be arriving late Thursday 10/3, leaving Monday 10/7. We're looking forward to meeting more of the owners and the factory folks too. I'm also interested in seeing some of the vendors in the area. If others have tried to use the campground website, they're experiencing technical difficulties - you have to call them to reserve a spot.

We are new to KZ and went thru the factory couple weeks ago. We enjoyed the experience. Very interesting to see the trailers being built. Bought our 1st kz this yr. We would be interested on coming to the rally. We live in Tx and are retired so date is not an issue. Just let us know date. We camped at Shipshewana south for 4 days. Nice campground.

TODAY is the last day to reserve a spot at the Shipshewana North campground for the KZ factory rally! After today, we are releasing any unreserved spots back to the campground. You may still be able to get a spot at the rally between now and the rally, but you might be put in a separate part of the park from the rest of the group or might not be able to get a spot at all. If you are considering attending, please reserve a spot today. Remember, they have a fairly generous cancellation policy if it turns out that you are unable to attend. I think that the factory folks are excited at the prospect of meeting all of us and have some nice things planned for us. I'm looking forward to meeting each of you in October, "lord willing".

As of this morning we have 11 rigs attending the KZ factory rally. That's a little disappointing, but i'm sure those that attend will have a wonderful time! Remember, we are not closing out attendance yet. We have simply relinquished the extra spots we had reserved. You can sign up to attend up to the very last minute before it starts, however it will be dependent on the site availability at that time. Also, you might be put in a spot in the park away from the rest of us. We certainly welcome any late attendees! Those signed up now are: mike and lynda howell brad sutherland tom & cindy horton charles & darlene ferest joyce morgan douglas & la mae McCullor brian cannaday robert mosur william davey duane harris
The formal activities start Thursday night, but Lynda and I will arrive Tuesday and I notice that several others will arrive on wednesday and thursday. More information to follow soon, now that we have a count. looking forward to a wonderful time and meeting new friends.

Re: kz rally. Talked to Dave Boggs today and he is setting up the factory tour for Friday,October 4th. After the tour we will have a lunch at the kz factory facility along with a question and answer session with company officials and engineers. This is an opportunity to talk with the decision makers! We are planning a trip to the Rv museum on Saturday for any who want to go. We are looking for at least one potluck supper/get together during the rally along with a visit as a group to a local restaurant. Dave said that at least one of the engineering staff is planning on camping with us during the rally. Also, repairs to your kz unit can be set up during the week before/ after with prior authorization from the kz service department. I noticed that a couple of the attendees show to be arriving on the 4th. It looks as if that all of the factory events will be on that date, you may want to make sure you get to the campground and set up prior to then. I hope that doesn't inconvenience anyone, but I don,t think the factory operates during the weekends. I should have scheduled it a day earlier I guess! As you can see, we have a lot going on. It will be a unique opportunity to meet and talk with the people who build and back our rv's and maybe have some real input. Remember, it's not too late to sign up. The more the merrier!
