We just got back to our summer camp from the KZ rally in Shipshewana and I'll tell you it was great. The wagon master Walter & Laurie were great. The food was great. KZ and Lippert were great. We got everything fixed to our satisfaction. We will go to the next one. Those that missed this last one need to keep up on this forum to find the next one. Well worth going to. Thanks again Wagon Master George & Vickie Watson

congrats on a very successful , if small, rally. Wish I could have been there. But you now have the nucleus for future national rally. looks like walter did a wonderful job of organizing and as someone who has done this before, i can assure you that it is a lot of work. NOW DON'T STOP THERE! Start right now planning for next year, (keeping in mind that next year does not have to be at the factory. It can be anywhere that will attract a lot of owners. In my opinion, the site needs to be chosen and announced in the next 30-45 days to give attendees plenty of time to arrange time off, etc. Remember that REGIONAL RALLYS work very well and will make people more likely to attend national rally. A good regional rally can have 10 to 20 rigs that may all come from 1 or 2 states. Usually held over a weekend for 2 or 3 days and within a one day run from home for most attendees. The people that attend these rally usually get to be close friend who keep in touch with each other and continue to meet up during the year. We met a couple that live about 75 miles from us about 9 years ago and we have camped together well over 20 times since then and messaged each other weekly. If our health permits, we would like to attend another KZ rally soon. Just too old and broke down to lead one again!

But if they would like to come to next years rally we all would welcome them with open arms along with the people at Kz The managers at Kz stated that they would like to have any owner of any Kz product (Travel Trailer, Toy hauler 5th Wheel of all Kz products etc) at next years rally an for future years, as the rally grows years down the line then they would split the brands up into their own rally's ... Next years National rally is already in the works dates have already been picked, we are just waiting for KZ to verify everything. Laurie and I will be the wagonmasters again, even though Chuck tried to submarine Edd505 to do it.
It all has to start somewhere. As far as regional rallies, they are a good idea just have to fine someone to oversee and coordinate them so dates do not overlap, but to get the level of attention that we had from KZ it must be in Shipshewana or the surrounding area and in the summer to have a national rally. You are not going to get KZ, Lippert, MOrryde, Dexter etc. to do what they did in BF Idaho any time of year. So stay tuned as things become available I will post it here.

Hey now there just a minute, I had you in mind the complete time, I just was trying to scare Edd505 into coming so he would be there to say NO ... My plan sort of worked, you volunteered an that's whats important (Big Grin), but the other part of the plan failed because Edd didn't come Ugh I'm already working on him now for next year to come but need a new plan, any idea's would be helpful As well like this past Rally I am here as your best friend to help you when needed, to listen when times are not so pleasant an you need someone to vent on Chuck & Hildi in Ohio
