Well
We went to RV museum, wonder around for a few hours, a must see that for sure ....
Went to MorRyde factory for tour, was great, very impressed with how well they take special care to make their
customers happy but they also manufacturer over 600 different products beside RV stuff witch is only 30 percent
of they overall customer base ..
There are 9 couples here, was suppose to be 10 but one couple could not make it because of heath issues...
Everyone gets along with everyone, we have had a 1st night hot dog roast put on by our wagon master jetzen
an his wife, protein pay for by Kz ... Great meet and greet afternoon and into the evening hours ...
Monday brought the Lippert (LCI) and Kz techs like a swarm of bee's with work sheets, tools an parts, they
went from trailer to trailer making sure that had anything needed to fix anything an everything ...
As I said in another post if you even said that there maybe something wrong they looked at it an added to your
work sheet to be repaired ... Both the service writers and tech are very nice, polite and clean along with
very knowledgeable about their products ...
They go out of their way to help each other be it a LCI or Kz problem, it isn't well that a Kz product we can't
do anything for you, they walk over to the Kz tech an tell them anout the problem an work thought the problem
together, if it's a LCI problem the Kz tech walks over to the LCI crew an lets them know an again work together
to solve of fix the problem, as I said they know each other well ...
They will not stop working on something till it is fixed right, if you do not think it's they will not ask any questions
they will redo it again ... One example is one of the women said she could feel the metal bar in he davenport, they
took the davenport out an had it re-done and re-installed, some people said the stove and counter didn't
match, stove was below the counter which it was, they put in a new stove and replace the counter ...
We have had talks by brake and tire people, the LCI people, MorRyde an KZ Management Staff people and more food
that you can think of LOL.
Today we went to Kz factory, we were again give a ton of food to eat an drinks, they had four different types
of trailers pulled into the this large room with tables set up for not only the rally members but managers
from the Eastern an central areas along with the main sales manager from KZ and a rep from each brand of trailer
that was in the room. This included the TT and one 5th wheel which is a from living room which will be coming
out in September some time. As you walked up to each trailer a rep could explain everything about that type of
trailer. Everyone of them had a note pad in hand including the main marketing manager and sales manager an
ask us what were are likes and dislikes an how could the product be improved ...
One we got done with going thought the trailer and eating an a few presentations about LCI an Kz we were
put into two groups, the TT group and the 5th wheel group ... We were taken to two different buildings
an walked thought from start to finish a production line in our case it was the 2500's ...
In our building there was 12 units in different build stages, from frame to almost complete, I can say the
shop floor was pretty clean, but there was stuff on the floor around different units but clean. Each unit
was some sort of carrier for the wheels and another for the 5th wheel/pin box. these carriers fit on a rail
going down the center of one side of the building. One side was the main unit build side an the other side
of the building was for the slide's to be built ...
All the units I saw from scratch to almost completed were pretty clean inside, once assembled they looked
to be swiped out but didn't have carpet in them yet. I will say the storage compartments I saw were really
clean, now savings or saw dust in them at all, not even a hand print no where, the duck work was all taped
neatly and cleanly...
They are already looking forward to next years Rally, they want to support their customer base 150 percent,
so what you hear about them only listen to the dealers is BS, every one of the Kz managers an sales reps had
a note pad, folks they are listening, an they kept asking how can we improve our product ...
I will give you a little hit, they are installing senors for lights in different parts of the newer 5th wheels
I can say this, if you are not a true Kz believer after you have attended one of these rally's you will be
You might start thinking about 2018 Kz Rally now ....
