I have a MXT319. I pull it with a Chev 2500. I do have an equalizer hitch installed. I have a terrible problem with the trailer swaying. It doesn't matter if I have my motorcycle in the garage or towing with it empty. Has anyone else experienced this?

My only question is "If your dealer set up your Equalizer, have you rechecked the install and adjustments"? I ask this because both of the trailers I have bought have had an Equalizer installed by the dealer (two different) and both needed to be reset by the instructions for proper use. Most dealers seem to do just the initial set up and then let them go. You can get the set up instructions on line and make the necessary changes.

Sway usually comes from too little tongue weight. Weigh the entire trailer and then just the weight at the coupler. The coupler weight should be 10 to 15 percent of the total.
