We have a 2014 MXT 303 toy hauler. We have outside LED lights that are on the awning roll tube, not against the trailer . It appears that there is no power to the lights coming from the trailer side. Purchased new LED light strip from Carefree and they don't work, so took tester to the wires outside the camper that the lights connect to and found no power coming from those wires. What I'd like to ask is if anyone thinks this may be an inside switch issue. The switch is a shared switch , where one side is for outside LED lights and the other is for interior hall lights. The interior hall lights work. Any idea on what may be causing our problem? Would it be as simple as replacing the receptacle?

Hi Bob. Thanks for sharing the post you made on this thread. I will check that out. We had a completely new awning recently replaced. The company who did so, came back out to check and see why the LED lights were flickering and going off. The lights would come back on if we moved the awning ( by just tapping the power switch to open/close it ) but a slight breeze would turn them off. The service tech then wiggled the wires at the connection from the trailer end to the awning and the lights would go out. He then re-wired the connection ( forgetting to turn off the LED lights ) and fried the lights. After getting new light strip replacement that did not work, he took a tester and determined there was no power from the trailer end wires . Hope that made sense. But I will definitely check out what you posted as your experience. The tech said he was not allowed to check any electrical issue as he was not certified and only installs the awnings. Not enjoying our insurance claim issues right now! The company sent by insurance company pretty much left us high and dry on that issue.~ Angie

I recently purchased a used 2014 MXT 303 toy hauler with the same LED lights in the awning that you describe. The previous owner had a similar problem as you did with the lights not working. He showed me that there is a fuse under the cover where the TV antenna booster switch is that goes to the LED lights. The panel on my unit is inside the front door on the ceiling just forward of the door, it has a 12 volt cigarette lighter type port and also has the small push button switch to turn on the antenna booster, as well as a small green LED to indicate if the booster is on or off.
