The antenna stinks. In denver i can pick up the locals for the most part. This last weekend our camping club was outside of colorado springs on top of a hill. I got one lousy channel. 7 other rigs got 13 to 15 channels. One pair of rabbit ears got 5.

Normally i'd troubleshoot it and repair myself but being under warranty my bride had forbidden me from touching it. Since its starting to cool off and our next two trips are in the mountains i'll live.

Our primary door has a friction hinge. Move it where you want it stays. Love it. Secondary door has the rod that holds the door, not a big fan. Oh and i did find out if the door is too far open the awning hits it.
Our thermostat control has two speeds, high and low.

Check the connections in the jbox on the frame. First trip out while trying to diagnose a defective battery I found that the connections in the jbox were loose. As in the wire nut fell off when i took off the cover.

I had the thermostat set at 70, fan on high. The humidity last weekend was in the teens (colorado). I tried opening the vents on the unit as well instead of relying on the just the ducts. Also popped the cover off to make sure the sensor was in the fins, it was. Several of my friends had theirs running and their trailers were much more comfy.

So have used the AC on our unit 3 times now. The first two times it seemed too cool fine but ice up, then blow warm. I'd shut it off, in five min water would stream off the roof and all would be well. This last weekend we were sitting in the 90s outside and my wife wanted to take a nap. Start the generator, kick on the ac, it never cooled off the trailer. Air coming out was only 80 degrees. I've called and made an appointment to have it looked at (two months away) but concerned maybe i'm doing something wrong. Any tips on using the AC?
Thanks

My bride and I made the move to the dark side this year with the purchase of a 2017 connect 231bhs. Thus far we love it. We had two popups and a small fifthwheel before. The fifthwheel was horrible too small, then two colemans. We loved the popup but last year we got caught in rain, snow and hail and just about had it. The 231 is great. Few small issues, including the AC but i'm positive that will be worked out shortly. Couple in our early forties, two early teens and two white fluffy dogs. We are in FCRV and camp at least once a month April to October.
