Does anyone know if the Sportsmen 280 would have necessary backing behind the laminate to install a slide topper aftermarket as mine did not come with one? I already have water damage in that corner area.
Thanks Joe

Yes, I have a 32 gallon two wheeler, very heavy... has a tow bar to throw over your hitch ball. The fun is getting it from your trailer to the hitch. No problems after that.Probably would have gotten a smaller capacity had I thought to do the math on the weight as I never put a full tank in. Can't move it very well!!

I know this is an older thread but have just seen it...the youtube video is great. I have had the same lines on the roof Sportsmen 280bhss 2014. Am going to try some of the ideas everyone has. I don't post much but look at this site often. Thanks, Joe

Thanks, I thought I saw it somewhere too. They sure keep that kind of stuff a mystery...I only think about it when five grandkids are piled up there over my head anyway.

Does anybody know the weight limitations on the upper bunk? Not in the paperwork anywhere and not labeled on the bunk. Dealer was going to check but have not gotten back with them lately. Thanks

Hi, been reading this forum for awhile and really have gotten some good info from it. We are part timers as we both still work full time so getting away is rare. Have been camping for years but got out of the tent thing 16 years ago. Traded in our Catalina we have had for about 12 years and upgraded to a Sportsmen S280BHSS 2013. Loving it so far.Looking forward to being a part of this forum now when I can.
