Aluminum roofs have been around since forever. I have a feeling that you do not see them much anymore because of the expense of installation on the longer trailers. We have had no issues with our aluminum roof but I would hesitate walking on one.

I use Tilex mold and mildew spray cleaner. I just spray it on, roll up the awning and let it stand for 15 to 20 minutes, unroll the awning and then spray it down with the garden hose. Works real well for me but then we have pretty mild weather where we live. Keeping the rain water out is a different issue.

I do not believe travel trailers come with a manual like you would see with a car or truck. However, you should have been provided with the different brochures for the appliances and such.

If you have an old ammo box you could fit the battery in that as well.

The parts can be had at any hardware store and the box I bought at Fry's. It is a pretty simple design and powered by a 11ah 12 volt battery.

We also got us a mattress topper. Very nice and comfortable.

The trailer requires a separate policy then that of the tow vehicle for damage to the trailer. Rates are very reasonable. The tow vehicles policy will not cover things such as hail damage to the roof.

The new e191bh replaces the e196s.

I found that I had to resize the picture so that the file size was smaller. Like Lynnmor said, download a photo editor.

The lights are about the same size horizontally. They are much brighter than the stock lights. Had to drill new mounting holes but no big deal and installed a new license plate frame bracket with light. I bought them online at www.commandelectronics.com/shop/. This was an easy install and took about an hour.

I installed a pair command electronic led tail lights on my e196s. Flush mounted and very clean look.

Same roof, same waves. Metal roofs have been around since forever.

You could probably find a bike rack that mounts to the tongue frame.

Your bike rack will probably rip off if you mount a bike rack to that bumper.

On our spree escape the outside light switch is just to the left of the door on the cabinet. Curiously it is to the right of the interior light switch. Logically they would have put this to the left of the two switches.

I think it applies to just the newer models. The August 2016 edition of Trailer Life magazine has an article on this subject.

I agree with 2ndchance. Sounds like the weight as delivered from the factory. After the propane, battery and all the gear stowed below the bed in the pass through is added up that weight will increase substantially.
