Hello all...I am new here but not new to camping. My family of 2 adults and four kids have been camping in popups for the past 12 years or so. We currently have a highwall Fleewood Niagara that has served us well for the past few years. After owning three popups, we are considering a travel trailer. I have looked at an 08 289KS. My oldest son, at 16, is 6'3". I like the fact that the 289 has two upper bunks that are 84" long. I also like the size of the U-shaped dinette for those days where we have to eat inside because of weather. The king size bed is also a bonus and it doesn't bother the wife or I that you have to "shimmy" in and out of it, we have dealt with this for years with the popup. What I am looking for is comments from people who currently own or have owned this particular model. I am interested in your personal experiences and how it fit your families needs, your likes and dislikes. I am sure that there a lots of opinions on any RV, but I am looking for comments only from those that have owned a 289KS. My tow vehicle is currently a 2003 Yukon XL 1500. Thanks....
