I would think you'd need to be far from other campers before needing an amplifier lol.
You don't have to listen to music =loud= to appreciate more power in a stereo system. Think about listening to a big block V8 just idling down the street and what a sweet sound that is, yet you know that if the driver wants to, he can blow you away! :-)

We bought two bluetooth speakers. They can be paired for stereo operation where one speaker plays left channel and the other plays the right channel. They're water resistant so it's ok if they get left out in the rain.
For music inside we put them in the dinette corners. They sync with the laptop for movie night and the phones for music and voice calls. Built in microphone for phone calls. Batteries last a long time and easy to recharge via USB.
