We are nearing the end of our warranty(end of August). So far, all after the sale experience with our dealer has been sub-par to say the least. I’ve got a counter and table top delam issue that we’d like to have taken care of before the warranty runs out. No matter how I have attempted to approach our dealer service department, communications are horrible. Even to the fact that I need to call them from different phone numbers to get them to answer.
Has anyone ever had any experience with contacting KZ direct and having replacement parts shipped directly to you and performed the work yourself?
Thank You!

I seem to recall one or two times where folks on the forum have managed to get parts sent directly to them, but they were smaller items. All I can say is give KZ a call and see if at the least they can send you to a different dealer or maybe authorize a mobile RV repair to do what needs to be done.

Call KZ and ask about using a mobile repair since your dealer is not living up to their service obligations. That was one of the first things I did, given the fact that there was only 1 KZ dealer in AZ at that time =and= that most problems tend to occur when you're away from home.

I am going to give the dealer a little more time to respond before reaching out to KZ. We still have 2 months before the warranty is out, and I have email documentation, as well as time/date stamped photos and video of the problems. Right now the table top and counter are not a huge problem. Both could actually be super glued, and so could run a additional bead of marine silicone around the around the inside of my sink to seal from further damage. I am just skittish about tampering with any of that before I know the warranty claim is made.
It is just extremely discouraging when the dealership constantly ignores phone calls, messages, and emails. Heck, all I want is the parts, and will gladly replace the counter and table tops myself.
We had a skid out floor that separated from the slide walls on our last trip, and so even fixed that myself to avoid the dealer. There were no real materials required, mainly only the right tools and a few hours of my time.

On the note of going to another dealer, unfortunately our dealer is only about 30 minutes away. I think the next closest is roughly two hours. We do have a mobile service I know of about 30 minutes away.

Call Kz customer service an talk with them, state the fact that you are getting little to no support from you dealer an state to them what you have written here...
In the past Kz has for a number of people here including us stated that they would ship parts to any Rv repair shop of our choosing an in some case's authorized Rv mobile service (but not always on mobile repair service) ...
In your case it will more than likely not authorized Rv mobile service because of the size of the item but suggest the next available dealer even thought they are two hours away ...
But I would look around your area an seek out a good RV repair shop an have the name handy in case they state that they will work with a RV repair shop of your choosing ...
Lastly you can also make an appointment at Kz factory if you want to take a road trip, they are great to work with an are a class A act ....
Safe Travels

Thanks to everyone for the input and suggestions. I will give our dealer a a few more days to respond before reaching out to KZ.
I made myself feel a little better about the situation yesterday by cleansing it of the demons, and removed the dealer badges. LOL.... The highlight of the day were the looks and comments from my wife when I went walking out to the trailer with a jar of peanut butter and butter knife in hand, and come walking back in a few minutes later to trash those hideous things (BTW.. Peanut butter is the best for removing stubborn adhesives and sticker/decal residue. Smear a layer over it, let sit for 30-60 minutes, wipe of the excess, then with just a little peanut butter on the rag, polish it out. You will never know they were there.)
Thanks again!

Safe Travels Chuck I am not so concerned with getting into the dealer right now. None of the issues so have are anything that I can’t live with are give a little attention to, temporarily fix, or take measure to slow down or prevent any further damage. I’d just like to know from them that if I take the time to properly document and report the issues prior to expiration of the warranty, that they will still be covered under warranty after that point. We have weekend and week long trips planned and booked, ranging from 2-3 weeks apart through the remainder of the year. Our trailer won’t sit idle for more than 3 weeks till we return from the Keys around Jan 5 of 2020. Needless to say, I am in no mood to lose deposits or be playing the 30 days at the dealer game. I just need them to respond, get the parts, and be ready to get it in and out if the warranty requires the repairs before expiration. Or, get the parts, give them to me, I’ll do the work, and they can write it off and collect as if they did it for all I care.

'Sides, the chunks of peanuts in the peanut butter (chunky is the =only= good PB) might scratch the 'glas. :B Lyle
