I own a 318RLT with the electric fireplace, and I too had trouble with it. The best advice I can give you is what I did, YouTube! This is much better than any service I could have received from any of the dealers. If you have any mechanical inclination, there are some fantastic videos on anything you would like to do with the fireplace. Once you have ID'd the unit, do a search for that model and there is a plethora of information available! Good luck!

Ty I will give that a try. It is new but taking to dealer is a pain I would rather fix myself.

if it's coming on, you need to set the temp, if the RV is at temp it does not blow. Mines holding the 5W about 70 all night set to 85 with temps in the mid 20's.

My fireplace works great. It will heat the trailer up pretty quick. When I bought the trailer (learner's curve) I had trouble because I was using the remote wrong. I thought it wasn't working but it was fine. Like Edd said, make sure that the temperature settings haven't accidentally been changed. Hopefully that's your problem and nothing major.

Chuck
They already have gooned up the bedrooms on the golds. Took away the big chest with the dual towers and put in a smaller one with 4 drawers and a flip.top. Also took out the night stands. Don't understand the flip top thing. If you keep.anything on top of the dresser like pictures or a clock, box of Kleenex like we do everything must come off to access what is undsrneath. Also there is way less storage space in the new design. Sometimes they just don't listen all the want to do is save a buck.. If I was in the market today do a new 5th wheel this could be a deal breaker. Going to Tampa RV show, hope they have a good sslection. I will let you know what I think after seeing in person.

I have a dresser in front of bed 4 big doors and 4 drawers. Also cabinets on each side of tv. Closet is big but if I ever put w/d it would shrink fast. I would like to have night stands on sides of bed. The extra width would be nice.

No cabinets any where just 4 drawers

White or ivory exterior?? Ivory exterior late 2018/ear!y 2019 built before 4/2018 White exterior mid year 2019 built after 4/2018. Ivory exterior will have old style Windows, street side slide and old bedroom setup. White exterior will have different style windows, taller street side slide, no ceiling fan on any model and redesign bedroom. My G384 is a 2018 it was built 4/2017 it looks just like chucks 2017 built just months apart unroll you look real close then you can pick up on the difference. Sometimes it is hard to tell who the players are without a program

385fl cream color exterior. No ceiling fan G385 never had a ceiling fan. Neither did the G384. Read the entire post. They took the ceiling fans from all models. G385 is a newer model and also a front living room. Their bedrooms are different than all the others. They originally had the 3 drawer 4 door dresser but the bedroom door hit the dresser and was quickly changed to the smaller 4 drawer only dresser. This was caught and shown to KZ at the 2017 rally when it was a prototype. So we are getting off topic on this post.

if it's coming on, you need to set the temp, if the RV is at temp it does not blow. Mines holding the 5W about 70 all night set to 85 with temps in the mid 20's. FWIW ... the fireplace doesn't heat the basement (where the tanks and water lines are). I'm a big fan of the fireplace and a space heater to reduce our propane use, but my approach is to set the electric heating stuff at 75 degrees and set the propane furnace @ 68 degrees. Used in this way, the electric heat will carry the bulk of the load, but the propane furnace does run (much less than it would without the electric "help") keeping the underbelly from any freezing ... this maintains the rig at 68 with the outside temps in low 30's. If 68 is too cool for you just adjust the house furnace to a number you like (say 70) and set the electric to be 10 degrees higher ... it will still reduce (but not eliminate) your house furnace propane consumption while keeping you comfortable.
