....on a new 2018 301BHLE. Pick it up Sat. We are excited it's our 1st so we have lots to learn! Get ready for noob threads from this guy! Been lurking on the boards for a week or so for the brand quality. Didn't see anything glaring unlike other brands. Feel pretty good about our future family time together!

eman, You'll find out. As a new owner myself (I've only had mine for 5 weeks), this board is a wealth of knowledge and I suggest scrolling through the pages as I am sure most of the answers to most of your question will be found in the first 2 pages of your thread of interest. I, like you, am a first time RV owner (I have a Sportster 311th10) AND I was very weary of purchasing. I spent about 2 years researching and going to RV shows and I can tell you that pound for pund, I don't think you can beat a KZ. Check out the "So You Want to buy a KZ" thread here authored by our very own Chuck. Safe travels and welcome abaord friend!

eman Welcome to the Kz family We now have had our Kz 5th wheel since February of this year an have put on over 9000 miles on it, we have like other owners have some small problems with appliances but Kz an most al of the appliances MFG's have stepped up to the plate .... As doublewa stated please read my thread in the folder "Want to purchase a Kz RV" kzfamilyforum.com/thread/1681/buy-kz-trailer .... You will fine a PDI list below my statements which may be helpfull in some ways when you go to pickup your brand new Kz TT As you have maybe read but I will say it again, your dealer is 90 percent of your purchase, the trailer is the other 10 percent. Bad Dealer, bad purchase, why because if you need warranty work an your dealer will not help you it is a given it will reflect on the brand of the trailer your bought .... Again Welcome to the Kz Family !! Don't forget about the National Kz Rally this coming summer, please read the Kz Rally Folder Safe Travels Chuck

Thanks guys. Yes chuck I have seen that thread. Lots of good info in that, thank you. I actually was checking a bunch of that stuff when we were goin through it with the salesman. Of course some can't be checked till the water is put to it.
I also saw the rally, I think it would be great for us but that's right about when we do a yearly camping trip with my parents. Difference will be this year we won't be in a tent! That will be nice since it's Aug!
Oh oh also yes the dealership does make all the difference. We were getting a used Keystone Passport for about the same price as this but the dealers lies started showing and the deal went south. It got so bad the GM offered to cancel the deal and return our deposit. We jumped on that. Started the search all over and found this new Sportsmen for less and love the dealer. Everything happens for a reason!

Congratulations on your new KZ trailer and welcome to the forums. I am on my second KZ trailer. I bought the first one in 2007, kept it for 10 years, then bought my present trailer in February this year. I think you will be happy with your trailer for years to come. You will find plenty of knowledgeable and helpful people on this site when you have any questions. And, the only stupid question is the one you don't ask. So when the questions arise, ask away.

Took delivery yesterday. Went smooth very happy with dealer. Slept in it with the kids. I did notice something odd. After the furnace had been on for awhile. We got a fancy feature of heated floors! Well not really, one of the vents is not sealed right and is putting air under the linoleum causing it to balloon up. I didn't take the time to fig out which one. Worth the hour drive back to dealer? Or simple to fine the possible loose vent and fix myself? I know I know warranty for a reason use. But I like to take care of the little stuff myself. Course it could be something not so little. Anyone else experience this? Thanks for the help.

The heat could have de-activated the glue holding the linoleum down. That's something I would probably let my dealer figure out.
Did the kids like it? Did you?

Heated floors? Are they actually heated or deducted air to the basement?

No the floors aren’t actually heated. It was a bit of a joke. Kids loved it. Sleeps well. You are prob right about the glue.I turned on the furnace again and watched the floor. It’s nkt starting near a vent. Actually starts near the return. Right in front of the furnace. Ugh. Looks like a return trip to dealer to fig out.

Talked to dealer. Sales guy called just to check in. Told him what I found he said they only glue the edges of the linoleum down. Possible poor job in at the furnace side. Scheduled to drop off on the 2nd.
