Factory reps and I are currently working on specific dates and location for a factory rally in the Elkhart area. We agreed that sometime in October would be the best time for them and should be great for weather and color. Hopefully everything will be firmed up in the next couple of weeks. Stay tuned for further info. Any input would be welcomed. However; please realize that we can't please everybody. We have to pick a date and hope that most members can make it.

Awesome....can't wait, we'll keep the month open until we hear from you.
Such great Amish food in the area...maybe a dinner or lunch....catered at the campground or at an alternate location.

Wow, I never realized they were that far up there. 1,300 miles one way might be a bit much for me.

You can count us in... We were at the factory for a tour this past October as it was the last stop on our 3000 mile Honeymoon! They were great! Lyn runs the Sportsmen line at the factory and he was awesome. Very helpful, fixed a few minor issues with our new 2013 Sportsmen 28BHSS and gave us a tour. Looking forward to returning a year later for our 1 year anniversary and KZ Rally!

tentative dates set are october 4th, 5th, and 6th. More details on location and reservations coming soon. Again; this all depends on participation. we need a minimum of 15 to 20 units to make this work. The factory tour day will be on Saturday the 5th.

it's official! The KZ factory rally will be on october 4th, 5th, and 6th at the Shipshewana North rv park. They are located about 3 miles from the KZ plant. everyone interested in attending needs to call the campground @ 260-562-2208. This is their winter number and if not answered when you call, leave a message and they will get back to you. Make your reservations for the dates you plan to be there and be sure and tell them that you are PART OF THE KZ RALLY. They are providing a meeting room for us and all rally attendees will get a discount from the campground. The factory will give us a tour, probably on Friday rather than Saturday as previously stated, so we can see units being built. We will have a chance to talk with KZ engineers and management and offer our input. Remember, we need AT LEAST 20 units to make this work, so please make your reservations asap. We need to have that number by april 15th or we will have to rethink the whole deal. Looking forward to meeting a lot of you. remember, you must be a KZ product owner or seriously considering a KZ to attend.

Great news about the rally...making reservations tomorrow morning.
Also, not sure if this is something to do as a group or individually for those attending, if they haven't been to the RV/MH Hall of Fame in Elkhart, IN we think it is well worth the 35 minute drive from Shipshewanna. It is under $10/person....some discounts apply. We had a great time there. It is nice that there is someplace trying to show the history of RVing. Check out the website.

We are in central California and bought our 2013 Durango in November. The factory tour sounds like a lot of fun! We will be traveling this year so we will see where we are in October. Would love to be there and meet other KZ owners. If we are not on the road at that time and are back home, the 2,200 miles might be a little too much. Will let you know if we can make it.

Just called and left a message to make our reservations! Looking forward to it. Perfect timing as well. As I mentioned before we got married on October 6th of last year and did a 3000 mile trip with our new 2013 KZ Sportsmen S280BHSS (Honeymoon Suite) for our honeymoon. The last stop was at the factory for a tour and a quick repair of a few minor items. Great way to celebrate our anniversary! Looking forward to meeting all of you!

Confirmed and booked yesterday with them. She said there were already 10 reservations for the rally. Sounds like it is going to be a success! Let me know if I can be of any help with organizing it.

Do we have any idea how many people have already decided to join us for the Rally? It should be a really good time!

I'm a little disappointed with the response so far. I hope that it's just a little early for people to be making reservations. I talked with the campground folks a couple of days after your post that stated that they told you that they had 10 reservations, and she said she only showed 6 reservations. Remember, we need about 20 rigs to really make a successful rally. If you make a reservation now, you can cancel with no penalties up to the week before (please confirm this when you make your reservation), so if something comes up later and you cannot attend, you wouldn't lose any money. The area around the factory should be really pretty in the fall and there are lots of interesting things to see in and around Elkhart. If any of our members are considering coming, please make reservations soon, so we can get on with making plans for activities and meetings. Anyone who owns a KZ product is welcome.

Sure hope the rally goes...we have our reservations too. We have been in the Elkhart area several times...very nice. Maybe a post in the WELCOME....section explaining the Rally or directing owners to the section further down the list will draw some interest. If people aren't into scrolling through the list they would miss the Rally at the tail-end. We also asked our KZ RV Dealer to pass the word to new sales and owners coming in for service. Hope we can see this happen, even if it is a smaller group.
