My wife & I have been going to LRR&L for 20 years now, and like this campground. The site are nice and BIG, and if you get a water site, a lot of them have pads to back onto. They advertise Wi-Fi, but that doesn't happen to be good, but I'll take the bigger sites than most campgrounds that we go to. Camping and boating on the lake is good also. Lake Raystown is 28 miles long with 115 miles of shoreline. We're going back on October 12th-16th.

Thanks for the advice! We're always looking for a new destination for a long weekend trip.

Had a good time (AGAIN) on a BIG campsite. Leaves looked good, and we also went to see "The Horseshoe Curve" train in Altoona! What a site to see with trains over 100 cars long, each pulled by 3 loco's and also pushed by 2 more! Anyone going next year, let me know. Maybe we can meet up out there! October 8 to October 16th is booked for next year already! Site 112.
