The wife and I are seriously considering the purchase of a Venom 3911, we love the layout and functionality of this model. Would love to hear from anyone who has any input on this new product line. Seems to be a great product.
Thanks

We are looking at the same. Anyone get one or have one? Curious about how insulated the back area is for living in warm or cold.

We have a 3911 and LOVE it. The garage part isn't too bad in the summer but when it is cold outside it is chilly. I am going to add the third A/C with a heat pump by next spring to resolve it.

We have a 3911 and LOVE it. The garage part isn't too bad in the summer but when it is cold outside it is chilly. I am going to add the third A/C with a heat pump by next spring to resolve it. Do you have an Air Conditioner in there now? We are looking hard at this floor plan because it seems to be one of the most complete plans available from any of the manufacturers. I can't believe how many plans have little counter space or dysfunctional kitchen areas with no storage. KZ's 2 years warranty also is a nice addition. Have you had any issues at all? Even minor ones. Have you made any modifications? We really don't like the sofa in front of the counter. Doesn't look that functional to me and we were thinking about ripping it out and doing a different sectional that would stretch fully across the counter and pick up a seat or so plus some added comfort for TV viewing / gaming. We know that we'll have to detach and move it for the slides but that seems a trivial thing for comfort. Thinking about a chase lounge in the slide attached to two seats across the counter or something similar. Maybe even a smaller sectional wedge just have to get in there and measure to see the space. We haven't walked it yet and are hoping there will be one at the Tampa show in January. Have you had the unit it hot weather like Florida and how does it perform overall with keeping cool? Thinking about adding a bedroom in that garage for our daughter but unsure of the insulation factors back there. I can always insulate the floor that back door is a little more worrisome. Any thoughts?

It didn't come with an A/C in the garage but has one in the middle and bedroom. It is prewired for one in the garage and a switch in the kitchen cabinet as you can only run two A/Cs at a time.
You are right the kitchen counter space is awesome and so is the pantry. We really loved the way that the kitchen is separate from the living room and not just across.
The only problem I have had is the wireless function of the tablet system doesn't work now but works fine if it is plugged in. Not a big deal and will be fixed over the winter.
Modifications wise I added a TV on a slide mount inside the front storage area and also some shelving with dividers as that space is HUGE and stuff tends to get lost. The couch really isn't that bad and we have the table and chair option instead of a double loveseat by the fridge so there is plenty of seating. With the two A/Cs running in the summer the back stayed cool enough for whoever was back there but adding a unit with heat pump can only help.

Can't thank you enough for taking the time to respond. Hope we get a chance to see it at the Tampa show otherwise we'll travel and find a dealer close-ish for a look.
Thank you again, enjoy and perhaps we'll cross paths on the road sometime.

We have a 3911 too and so far love it. We didn't have any issues the couple of times we had it out at the end of the summer and with the 3rd AC in the garage it stayed plenty cool back there. Our dogs live in that space and for cold nights we just plug in a space heater and it stays very warm.
As for the couch, it is on rollers so that it goes in and out with the slide so you'll have to take that into consideration if you replace it. It is very comfortable for one person to stretch out on and we just bought a small recliner for the space at the end of the counter for extra seating. It fits nicely in the open space in front of the fireplace when the slides are in. We kept the table and chairs because we like to play cards with our friends.

Hello Venom 3911 owners Great to see some conversations here. Could I ask you to have a look at your bedroom slide and tell me what you see. Look at your bottom slide seal and also have a look at what the slide out is riding on. The unit I looked at had a single seal at the bottom and the slide rides on a block of nylon or Teflon not on rollers. We really like the unit but these two things have me concerned. Aridon, we would change the couch as well. Thanks

I have not paid that much attention other than it works well and has no issues, I will check to see if seal is as you say. Did have one issue KZ did not put the generator sense wire from the generator panel to the midi load shed panel so it would shed loads while running the generator. Wire is in place now so midi panel sees generator and can run all 3 A/C units now without shedding load.

I did check the seals on my bedroom slide and it appears one is fixed to the outside wall and another moves with the slide, seem like they are fairly thick and should work in that location. My slide also rides on some type of block but no wear damage yet that i can see.
